Description:

FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to a drawer structure, in particular to a drawer opening and closing device.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

With reference to FIG. 7 for a conventional drawer opening and closing device, the conventional drawer opening and closing device comprises a blocking member 41 disposed on a side of a cabinet 4, and a pivot member 51 pivotally installed to the front of the drawer 5; wherein the pivot member 51 is installed to the front of the drawer 5 by a pivot 52, and the pivot 52 is installed at a position other than the center of the pivot member 51, and the pivot 52 controls the pivoting status of the pivot member 51 through a torsion spring 53. Therefore, the pivot member 51 is disposed at the right end portion of the pivot 52 and the pivot member 51 is normally drooped due to its own weight and blocked by the blocking member 41, so that the drawer 5 cannot be pulled outwardly (wherein, the direction of pulling out the drawer 5 is the right side of the figure). To pull out the drawer 5, a user needs to flip the pivot member 51 upwardly to swing the pivot member 51 to rise to a position in order to separate the blocking member 41. With the aforementioned structure, a drawer opening and closing mechanism is formed.

However, the core technology of such conventional structure resides on the position of installing the pivot 52 onto the pivot member 51, and the choice of such position faces several difficulties. Firstly, if the selected position is too close to the middle of the pivot member 51, then the pivot member 51 will be difficult to use its own weight to pivot and normally droop to the blocking member 41. On the contrary, if the selected position is too near an end of the pivot member 51, then the torque formed by the weight of the pivot member 51 will be too large, so that the torsion spring 53 may be overloaded and damaged easily. In summation, the conventional drawer opening and closing device requires improvements.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

In view of the aforementioned problems of the prior art, it is a primary objective of the present invention to overcome the problems by providing a slanted guide drawer opening and closing device having two slantingly stacked displacing members, and the slant surfaces of the displacing blocks abut each other to produce a change of displacing direction, so as to switch the open and closed statuses of a drawer.

To achieve the aforementioned objective, the present invention provides a slanted guide drawer opening and closing device, comprising: a cabinet, having at least one set of slide modules installed on both sides of the cabinet and configured to be opposite to one another, and a stop portion disposed proximate to each corresponding slide module; and each slide module having a drawer slidably mounted thereon, and a panel being installed at the front of each drawer, and the direction along the left and right sides of the panel being defined as a transverse direction; and both sides of each panel having an opening and closing device that comprises a first holder, a displacing member and a flipping member; wherein, the first holder is fixed onto the panel, and the first holder has a first through hole formed thereon and penetrating in the transverse direction of the panel, and a control end of the displacing member is movably installed into the first through hole, and the displacing member has a first slant surface tilted in a direction opposite to the transverse direction of the panel; and the flipping member is installed onto the panel and has a second slant surface tilted in a direction opposite to the transverse direction of the panel and having a gradient equal to the gradient of the first slant surface, and the flipping member and the displacing member abut against each other through the first slant surface and the second slant surface, and the flipping member is flipped to produce a displacement, and the first slant surface and the second slant surface abut against each other, and the displacing member produces a displacement along the transverse direction of the panel to extend the control end out from the first through hole or retract the control end into the first through hole, such that when the control end is extended out from the first through hole, the control end is blocked at the stop portion, and the drawer cannot be pulled out from the cabinet.

Wherein, the flipping member has a virtual pivot formed on a side of the flipping member, and the pivot on the panel is used as a pivoting center to produce a displacement to push the displacing member.

In addition, the first holder has a limit portion for stopping the flipping member to limit the range of the displacement of the flipping member. The panel includes a second holder disposed thereon and opposite to the first holder and the second holder includes a second through hole penetrating along the transverse direction of the panel; and the displacing member has a guiding end opposite to the control end and passing into the second through hole, and an elastic member is installed between the displacing member and the second holder, and the elastic force of the elastic member is provided for assisting the displacing member to restore its original position after being displaced.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

The present invention will become clearer in light of the following detailed description of an illustrative embodiment of this invention described in connection with the drawings. It is intended that the embodiments and drawings disclosed herein are to be considered illustrative rather than restrictive.

With reference to FIG. 1 for a slanted guide drawer opening and closing device of the present invention applied to a cabinet 1 having at least one drawer 2, wherein the cabinet 1 has an accommodating space for containing the drawer 2, at least one set of slide modules 11 installed to both sides of the cabinet 1 and disposed opposite to one another, so that the drawer 2 can be slidably installed onto the slide module 11 and pulled out from the cabinet 1 or pushed into the cabinet 1, and a stop portion disposed separately on both sides of the cabinet 1 and proximate to the slide module 11,wherein the stop portion of this preferred embodiment is a recess 12. In addition, a panel 21 is installed at the front of the drawer 2, and an opening and closing device 3 is installed separately on the left and right ends of the panel 21, and the direction along the left and right sides of the panel 21 is defined as a transverse direction D.

In FIG. 2, the opening and closing device 3 comprises a first holder 31, a displacing member 32 and a flipping member 33. The first holder 31 is fixed onto the panel 21, and the first holder 31 has a first through hole 311 penetrating along the transverse direction D of the panel 21, wherein the first through hole 311 and the recess of the cabinet are configured to be corresponsive to each other.

The panel 21 has a second holder 34 disposed thereon and opposite to the first holder 31, wherein the second holder 34 has a second through hole 341 penetrating along the transverse direction D of the panel 21, and the displacing member 32 is movable installed into two through holes 311, 341 of the two holders 31, 34. Specifically, an end of the displacing member 32 is in the shape of a triangular prism, and a control end 321 with a slope surface 322 is formed on a side of the displacing member and movably installed into the first through hole 311, and a guiding end 323 is extended from an end of the displacing member 32 opposite to the control end 321, wherein the guiding end 323 is a slender rod, and the guiding end 323 is movably passed into the second through hole 341. In addition, an elastic member is installed between the displacing member 32 and the second holder 34, and the elastic force of the elastic member is provided for restoring the original position of the displacing member 32 after being displaced. In this preferred embodiment, the elastic member is a spring 35 sheathed on the outer periphery of the guiding end 323, and both ends of the spring 35 abut the displacing member 32 and the second holder 34 respectively. If the displacing member 32 moves in a direction towards the second holder 34, the spring 35 will be compressed to produce a resilient force to assist the displacing member 32 to restore its original position.

The displacing member 32 has a first slant surface 324 disposed between the control end 321 and the guiding end 323 and tilted with respect to the transverse direction D of the panel 21. The flipping member 33 is installed on the panel 21 and has a second slant surface 331 tilted with respect to the transverse direction D of the panel 21 and with a slope equal to the slope of the first slant surface 324. The flipping member 33 and the displacing member 32 abut against each other through the first slant surface 324 and the second slant surface 331 as shown in FIGS. 3 and 5, and the flipping member 33 is flipped to produce a displacement. Since the first slant surface 324 and the second slant surface 331 abut against one another, the displacing member 32 produces a displacement along the transverse direction D of the panel. In this preferred embodiment as shown in FIG. 2, the panel 21 includes a control board 36, and both ends of the control board 36 are coupled to the flipping members 33 of the two opening and closing devices disposed on both sides of the panel 21 respectively, so as to drive the two flipping members 33 to move synchronously. A virtual pivot P is formed on a side of the control board 36 due to the suppression and limit effects of a fixing portion 22 disposed on the panel 21. The control board 36 may use the pivot P on the panel 21 as the center to pivot as shown in FIGS. 4 and 6 in order to drive the flipping member 33 to pivot synchronously by using one of its sides as the axis and produce a displacement. Since the first slant surface 324 and the second slant surface 331 abut each other, the displacing member 32 produces a displacement along the transverse direction D of the panel 21. In this preferred embodiment as shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the first holder 31 further has a limit portion 312 for stopping the flipping member 33, so that the range of the displacement of the flipping member 33 is limited. Wherein, the limit portion 312 is a notch, and the flipping member 33 includes a lug 332, such that when the flipping member 33 is pivoted to the lug 332 to press the limit portion 312, the flipping member 33 is stopped by the lug 332 to limit the pivoting range of the flipping member 33.

With respect to the movement of the displacing member 32 in the transverse direction, the control end 321 can be movably extended in the first through hole 311 to define two statuses, respectively: a status of extending out from the first through hole 311 and a status of retracting into the first through hole 311 for controlling the open and closed statuses of the drawer respectively. In FIG. 5, the propping force of the spring 35 keeps the control end 321 to be normally extended out from the first through hole 311. Now, the control end 321 is extended into the recess 12 of the cabinet 1, and the drawer is situated at a locked status and cannot be pulled out from the cabinet 1 since the control end 321 is stopped at the recess 12. On the other hand, if a user pulls the control board 36 to drive the flipping member 33 to pivot, the flipping member 33 will push the displacing member 32 to retract the control end 321 into the first through hole 311. Now, the control end 321 exits the recess 12, and the drawer can be pulled out from the cabinet 1 without hindrance, so as to switch the drawer to the open status.

In summation of the description above, the present invention achieves the expected objective and complies with the patent application requirements, and thus is duly filed for patent application.

While the invention has been described by means of specific embodiments, numerous modifications and variations could be made thereto by those skilled in the art without departing from the scope and spirit of the invention set forth in the claims.
