Description:

FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to a magnetic container, and more particularly to a technology of multiple functions on magnetic sucking and parts storage.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

The prior arts are based on the patent cases of parts storage disc such as shown in U.S. application Ser. No. 11/627,992, and Taiwanese application number 094204156 which the present inventor applied for. The main structure is a magnet with magnetic force on the bottom of the disc body. A fixing assembly sleeves over the surrounding edge of the disc body. The fixing assembly has a central shaft and a fastening groove to shore up the surrounding edge of the disc body. A through hole of the storage disc sleeves over the central shaft. The shortcomings of the state of the art are: (a) the disc body is made of metal, and in a bowl shape after mold pressing. The shape and the design of the disc body are likely limited by metal nature, and it is difficult to make the disc body in a variety of shapes. Besides, the cost of metal is higher; (b) the disc body in bowl shape cannot hold any long tools or parts, such as screwdrivers or connecting rods; and (c) The bowl shape of the disc body limits the size and the length of a hand tool. Thus, its function and practicability are not good.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The objective of the present invention is to provide a magnetic container with multiple functions on magnetic sucking and storage. The magnetic container includes a main body, a magnetic body, and a storage disc, while the main body has a storage part, a brim edge, a transversal long hole, a fastener and a receiving chamber. The magnetic body is disposed at the center of the main body. The pivot of the storage disc is pivotally connected in the transversal long hole of the main body so that the storage disc can open or overlap relatively to the storage part. The storage disc has a stop edge to support the brim edge, and a fastening block to fasten the fastener. An elastically extendable fastening element is disposed in the receiving chamber. Tools and parts can be inserted or clamped in the fastening element.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

Referring to FIGS. 1˜3, the magnetic container of the present invention includes a disc-shaped main body 10, a cover body 20, a magnetic body 30, a bottom disc 40, a storage disc 50 and at least one fastening element 60. The plastic or rubber molded main body 10 is changeable on shape. An arc-shaped storage part 11 is convexly disposed on the surrounding edge of the front of the main body 10, and the length of the storage part 11 extends, and surrounds the main body 10 to form a central angle about 180 degrees. One lateral side of the storage part 11 bends, and extends to form a brim edge 12, a transversal long hole 13 is disposed at two ends of the storage part 11 respectively, and the two ends of the transversal long hole 13 are disposed with a first position 131 and a second position 132. A bottomless chamber 14 is disposed at the center of the main body 10, and a sunken annulus member 15 and at least one receiving chamber 17 are disposed along the front of the bottomless chamber 14 (the drawing showing three receiving chambers 17). A fastener 16 is disposed at the center of the front of the brim edge 12. The receiving chamber 17 includes two receiving parts 171/172 which are different on depth and through connecting with each other, as well as two raised posts 173 disposed at two ends of the receiving chamber 17. On the front of the main body 10, there is a hanging hole 19 at the portion of the main body 10 and near the surrounding of the main body 10, and at least one arc narrow groove 18 which is between the receiving chamber 17 and the hanging hole 19, and flat tools or flat parts can be firmly inserted in the arc narrow groove 18. The width of the groove 18 is smaller than the width of the receiving chamber 17. It is preferable the width of the groove 18 is less than 5mm. The cover body 20 is a piece shape made of magnetic metal, and surrounded by a fastening edge 21. The fastening edge 21 is couplably inlaid in the sunken annulus member 15 of the main body 10. The cover body 20 seals the bottomless chamber 14 of the main body 10. Both the cover body 20 and the main body 10 are placed in the mold. When the main body 10 is molded, the cover body 20 is integrated with the main body 10. The diameter of the magnetic body 30 is slightly shorter than it of the cover body 20. The magnetic body 30 magnetically sucks the cover body 20. The magnetic body 30 makes the cover body 20 on the bottom of the main body 10. A sunken holding part 41 is disposed on the bottom disc 40. The holding part 41 holds the magnetic body 30 so that the magnetic body 30 is hidden between the bottom disc 40 and the cover body 20. The bottom 42 of the bottom disc 40 has a rough surface. The storage disc 50 is like a slice of half arc. The storage disc 50 and the main body 10 are made of the same material. The extension part 51 is disposed at the middle portion of the storage disc 50. The extension part 51 is like a sunken arc. The stop edge 52 is disposed at the lateral side of the storage disc 50. The stop edge 52 supports the brim edge 12 of the main body 10. A pivot 53 is disposed at each of the two ends of the storage disc 50 respectively. The pivot 53 pivotally connects the transversal long hole 13 so that the storage disc 50 can swing to form an angle relatively to the main body 10 and the storage part 11. Under such circumstance, the storage disc 50 is either hidden or exposed. The fastening block 54 is disposed on the extension part 51 of the storage disc 50. The fastening block 54 can fasten the fastener 16. The fastening element 60 is elastically extendable, and can hold tools or parts. The two ends of the fastening element 60 sleevely connect the raised posts 173 so that the fastening element 60 is held in the receiving chamber 17. The drawing shows the fastening element 60 to be an extendable spring.

Referring to FIGS. 5 and 6, when the extension part 51 ascends relatively to the storage part 11 and exposes itself, the pivot 53 is positioned at the first position 131 of the transversal long hole 13. The fastening block 54 fastens the fastener 16. The extension part 51 and the storage part 11 extend to form a holding space. Referring to FIGS. 7 to 9, the storage disc 50 swings upward relatively to the main body 10 to form an angle so that the fastening block 54 comes off the fastener 16. Then, the storage disc 50 moves till the pivot 53 moves to the second position 132 of the transversal long hole 13. After that, the storage disc 50 swings downward relatively to the main body 10 so that the extension part 51 descends relatively to the storage part 11, and is hidden after overlapping.

Referring to FIG. 10, tools or parts without magnetic force can be placed in the holding space encircled by the storage part 11 and the extension part 51. For a longer tool or a longer part (such as a screwdriver), its one end with the function of being magnetically sucked can be sucked on the cover body 20, and its grip stretches upward above the top of the receiving chamber 17 of the main body 10. For ordinary small parts, such as screws or screwdriver heads, they can be clamped in the fastening element 60. A longer small part can be in the receiving part 171 while a shorter small part can be in the receiving part 172. For a variety of flatter parts, paper for recording purpose and instructions leaflets, they can be fastened in the arc narrow groove 18. Therefore, the present magnetic container can hold tools and parts in a variety of shapes or structures, and integrates all storage functions in one body. Thus, tools and parts can be collectively stored in one place, and won't be lost.

Referring to FIG. 11, for the second embodiment of the present invention, the fastening element 60 is in flat wave shape, and can be used to hold objects.

While we have shown and described the embodiment in accordance with the present invention, it should be clear to those skilled in the art that further embodiments may be made without departing from the scope of the present invention.
