Abstract:
This utility model relates to a lever type tool box drawer locking mechanism, consisting of control mechanism comprising shaped strip stressed plate, strip square shaped stressed plate guide rails with strip-shaped notch on main surface, guard sleeve covering and fitted on stressed plate guide rails, baffle with position-limiting extending hole and box cover plate, and actuator comprising lever with middle shaft mounting hole and waist shaped shaft mounting holes at both ends, lever seat with shaft mounting hole on middle raised face, locking plate with position-limiting locking hole and shaft mounting hole, locking plate guide rails with strip-shaped notch on main plane, and latch hook with protruding hook. The control mechanism and locking actuator are installed inner surface of tool box rear board and outer surface of drawer rear board respectively (near each other). Hauled by the lever, opening and closing of cover plate controls up-down movement of stressed plate, driving locking plate at the other end of lever and changing relative position between position-limiting locking hole and latch hook, thus locking and unlocking the drawer. The present invention features simple structure, easy use and reliable operation.

Claims:
What is claimed is:

1. A lever type tool box drawer locking mechanism consisting of control mechanism (1) and actuator (2), characterized by said control mechanism (1) comprising stressed plate (3), stressed plate guide rails (4), guide sleeve (5), baffle (6) and box cover plate (7), and said actuator (2) comprising lever (8), lever seat (9), locking plate (10), locking plate guide rails (11) and latch hook (12); among them: a. main body of said stressed plate (3) is strip-shaped and includes shaft mounting hole (13); b. main body of said stressed plate guide rails (4) is strip square shaped, matching internal assembling of shaped strip-like stressed plate (3), and with working notch (14) on middle main plane; c. main body of said guard sleeve (5) is shaped, on which shaft mounting hole (15) is provided; d. position-limiting extending hole (17) is provided on said baffle (6); e. main body of said lever seat (9) is bent, on raised face of which shaft mounting hole (18) is provided; f. main body of said lever (8) is flat, on which middle shaft mounting hole (19) and waist shaped shaft mounting holes (20) and (21) at both ends are provided for movable position-limiting fitting on lever seat (9); g. main body of said locking plate (10) is in the shape of and strip like, and on its main plane, position-limiting locking holes (22) at certain interval with quantity and positions conforming to quantity of controlled drawers and positions of latch hooks on drawers are provided; in addition, shaft mounting hole (23) is provided near upper end; h. main body of said locking plate guide rails (11) is strip square shaped, matching internal assembling of shaped strip-like locking plate (10), and with working notch (24) on middle main plane; i. on said latch hook (12), protruding hook (26) is provided.

2. The lever type tool box drawer locking mechanism of claim 1 wherein said stressed plate guide rails (4), baffle (6), lever seat (9), and locking plate guide rails (11) are installed on inner surface of rear board of tool box body.

3. The lever type tool box drawer locking mechanism of claim 1 wherein said lever (8) is shaft mounted on lever seat (9) in a movable manner via middle shaft mounting hole (19) and shaft mounting hole (18).

4. The lever type tool box drawer locking mechanism of claim 1 wherein said stressed plate (3) extends through groove in stressed plate guide rails (4) in a movable manner.

5. The lever type tool box drawer locking mechanism of claim 1 wherein said guard sleeve (5) covers external surface of stressed plate guide rails (4).

The lever type tool box drawer locking mechanism of claim 1 wherein said guard sleeve (5), one end of lever (8) and stressed plate (3) are connected together in a movable manner by means of clevis pin with head (27) and via shaft mounting hole (13), waist shaped shafting mounting hole (20) and shaft mounting hole (13).

7. The lever type tool box drawer locking mechanism of claim 1 wherein upper end (16) of said stressed plate (3) extends through position-limiting extending hole (17) on baffle (6) in a movable manner.

8. The lever type tool box drawer locking mechanism of claim 1 wherein said locking plate (10) extends through groove of locking plate guide rails (11) in a movable manner.

9. The lever type tool box drawer locking mechanism of claim 1 wherein said locking plate (10) is connected in a movable manner by means of clevis pin with head (28) and via shaft mounting hole (24) near the upper end and waist shaped shafting mounting hole (21) on the other end of lever (8).

Description:

FIELD OF THE INVENTION

This utility model relates to a type of position-limiting device, in particular a lever type tool box drawer locking mechanism based on lever principle.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

At present, drawer locking mechanism normally used on tool box is mainly connecting rod type. In such mechanism, locking bar interlocked with locking head is controlled by a key to rotate by 90 or 180 degrees to drive locking plate, realizing position-limiting locking and relief of locking for drawer latch hook. In drawer locking mechanism of this type of structure, the interlocked locking bar is arranged across top drawer, and control mechanism and actuator are arranged at the two ends of interlocked locking bar. In addition to complicated structure and large space occupied affecting drawer availability, operation is strenuous and locking stability is poor, making it not ideal in terms of practicality and economy.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

The purpose of this utility model is to provide a lever type tool box drawer locking mechanism of simple and reasonable structure, and easy, safe and reliable operation.

Main body of the lever type tool box drawer locking mechanism of this utility model consists of control mechanism and actuator, characterized by said control mechanism comprising stressed plate, stressed plate guide rails, guide sleeve, baffle and box cover plate, and said actuator comprising lever, lever seat, locking plate, locking plate guide rails and latch hook. Among them, main body of said stressed plate is strip-shaped and includes shaft mounting hole; said stressed plate guide rails are fixed on inner surface of tool box rear board and its main body is strip square shaped, matching internal assembling of shaped strip-like stressed plate, and with working notch on middle main plane; said baffle is installed on inner surface of tool box rear board, on which position-limiting extending hole for stressed plate upper end is provided; main body of said guard sleeve is shaped, covering and fitted on external surface of stressed plate guide rails, and shaft mounting hole is provided on this sleeve; main body of said lever seat is bent, this seat is fixed on internal surface of tool box rear board, and on raised face of this seat, shaft mounting hole is provided; main body of said lever is flat, on which middle shaft mounting hole and waist shaped shaft mounting holes at both ends are provided for movable position-limiting fitting on lever seat; main body of said locking plate is in the shape of and strip like, and on its main plane, position-limiting locking holes at certain interval with quantity and positions conforming to quantity of controlled drawers and positions of latch hooks on drawers are provided; in addition, shaft mounting hole is provided near upper end; said locking plate guide rails are fixed on internal surface of tool box rear board and strip-shaped working notch is provided on main plane; said latch hook is fixed on external surface of drawer rear board, on which protruding hook is provided.

In installed status, said stressed plate guide rails, baffle, lever seat, and locking plate guide rails are installed on inner surface of rear board of tool box body. Said lever is shaft mounted on lever seat in a movable manner via middle shaft mounting hole. Said stressed plate extends through groove in stressed plate guide rails in a movable manner. Said guard sleeve covers external surface of stressed plate guide rails. These 3 parts are connected together in a movable manner by means of clevis pin with head and via shaft mounting hole on guard sleeve, waist shaped shaft mounting hole on one end of lever, and shafting mounting hole on stressed plate main plane. Upper end of said stressed plate extends through position-limiting extending hole on baffle in a movable manner. Said locking plate extends through groove of locking plate guide rails in a movable manner, and is connected in a movable manner by means of clevis pin with head and via shaft mounting hole near the upper end and waist shaped shafting mounting hole on the other end of lever.

For operation, with tool box cover open, upper end of stressed plate is not subject to external force, and stretches freely under gravity of strip-shaped locking plate. Latch hook on external surface of rear board of each drawer extends through corresponding position-limiting locking hole on locking plate and is at non-buckled status. At this time, drawer can be pulled freely without obstruction. When tool box cover plate is down (closed), upper end of stressed plate is pressed down, one end of lever will move down as driven by the stressed plate, while the other end of lever moves up to drive locking plate and position-limiting locking holes on this plate to move up, so that its edge clamps latch hook protruding hook, locking the drawer.

In the new lever type tool box drawer locking mechanism of this utility model based on above design, since control mechanism and locking actuator are arranged on inner surface of tool box rear board and outer surface of drawer rear board respectively where they are near, and owing to use of lever principle and work mode in which drawer opening and locking is controlled by action of box cover, and position of stressed plate in control mechanism is limited by both stressed plate guide rails and the guard sleeve, and position of locking plate is limited by locking plate guide rails, this new lever type tool box drawer locking mechanism features simple and scientific structure, and easy, safe and reliable operation, hence having apparent economy and practicality.

In FIG. 1, FIG. 2, FIG. 3 and FIG. 4, main body of the lever type tool box drawer locking mechanism of this utility model consists of control mechanism 1 and actuator 2, characterized by said control mechanism 1 comprising stressed plate 3, stressed plate guide rails 4, guide sleeve 5, baffle 6 and box cover plate 7, and said actuator 2 comprising lever 8, lever seat 9, locking plate 10, locking plate guide rails 11 and latch hook 12. In installed status, said stressed plate guide rails 4, baffle 6, lever seat 9, and locking plate guide rails 11 are installed on inner surface of rear board of tool box body. Said lever 8 is shaft mounted on lever seat 9 in a movable manner via middle shaft mounting hole 19. Said stressed plate 3 extends through groove in stressed plate guide rails 4 in a movable manner. Said guard sleeve 5 covers external surface of stressed plate guide rails 4. These 3 parts are connected together in a movable manner by means of clevis pin with head 27 and via shaft mounting hole 13 on guard sleeve, waist shaped shaft mounting hole 20 on one end of lever 8, and shafting mounting hole 13 on stressed plate 3 main plane. Upper end of said stressed plate 3 extends through position-limiting extending hole 17 on baffle 6 in a movable manner. Said locking plate 10 extends through groove of locking plate guide rails 11 in a movable manner, and is connected in a movable manner by means of clevis pin with head 28 and via shaft mounting hole 24 near the upper end and waist shaped shafting mounting hole 21 on the other end of lever 8.

For operation, with tool box cover 7 open, upper end 16 of stressed plate 3 is not subject to external force, and stretches freely under gravity of strip-shaped locking plate 10. Latch hook 21 on external surface of rear board of each drawer extends through corresponding position-limiting locking hole 22 on locking plate 10 and is at non-buckled status. At this time, drawer can be pulled freely without obstruction. When tool box cover plate 7 is down (closed), upper end of stressed plate 3 is pressed down, one end of lever 8 will move down as driven by the stressed plate 3, while the other end of lever 8 moves up to drive locking plate 10 and position-limiting locking holes 22 on this plate to move up, so that its lower edge clamps latch hook protruding hook, locking the drawer.
