Title:
Spring hair comb
Kind Code:
A1

Abstract:
The spring hair comb consisted of the handle and the compression spring. The teeth of the comb are made of the coils of the compression spring. The thickness and spaces of the teeth depend on the size of the compression spring. This comb combs through hair smoothly with minimal friction and no pain to the scalp due to its round coils and its larger contact surface than the small and pointed teeth of other combs.

Claims:
1. A hair comb consisted of a handle and a compression spring used as main teeth.

2. A comb according to claim 1 wherein the handle has one rounded tooth on each end of the comb and a row of evenly spaced holes in between the two teeth.

3. A comb according to claim 1 wherein the compression spring is made out of thin metal and coated with plastic.

4. A comb according to claim 3 further inserted and weaved into the row of holes.

Description:

A hair comb for use on soft and sensitive scalp. A comb consists of two main parts: the handle and the compression spring. The handle has two teeth where each tooth is on each end, and a row of evenly spaced holes which line between the two teeth. The coil and spaces of the compression spring fit the sizes and spaces of the holes on the handle. One end of the compression spring is first inserted into the first hole on either side. The compression spring is then turned and weaved through the rest of the holes into position and become the comb's main teeth.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Combs with pointed teeth can inflict pain on soft and sensitive scalp of the head. The use of the compression spring on the spring hair comb eliminates those problems, and still provides similar functions as other combs.

BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The spring hair comb consisted of the handle and the compression spring. The compression spring coils of the comb, when viewed from the front, present teeth like and evenly spaced. The teeth created by the spring hair comb however have greater scalp area contact than any other comb's teeth, which provide a smooth and soothing feeling when combed from any directions.
