Abstract:
An improved positioning structure for a reel is disclosed. The structure includes two corresponding external caps, a reeling disc, a leading cord, a spiral spring and a positioning ball, characterized in that the leading cord is respectively surrounding onto the external edge face of the upper frame position and the lower frame position, the cord in respective frame position are in opposite loosening and tightening state, and the upper frame is the pulling cord and the lower frame is the ready-to-rotate cord, and the cord is restricted by the positioning structure; the external cap has an inner edge face mounted with a multifunctional rail allowing the steel ball to position the cord in corresponding to counterclockwise rotation and clockwise rotation, urging the positioning ball to loosen and tighten the cord alternately, and the positioning ball is arranged at the sliding slot within the inner slot of the edge face of the reeling disc.

Claims:

2. A positioning structure for a reel comprising: a first cover having a center shaft provided with an engaging slot; a reeling disc having an upper frame and a lower frame and having an engaging slot, said reeling disc having a bottom face formed with a sliding groove; a leading cord first surrounding said upper frame of said reeling disc and then passing through an external edge of said lower frame of said reeling disc; a spiral spring having a center end secured to said engaging slot of said center shaft of said first cover, said spiral spring having an external end connected to said engaging slot of said reeling disc; a positioning bead mounted within said sliding groove of said reeling disc thereby forming an engaged sliding movement; and a second cover having an inner face provided with a multi-functional rail in combination with said positioning bead to provide a clockwise and counterclockwise movement of said reeling disc thereby causing said positioning bead to provide alternately a loosening and tightening operation of said leading cord.

Description:

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

(a) Technical Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to positioning structure for a reel, and in particular, a positioning structure which reduces noise generated by high speed rotation of the rail.

(b) Description of the Prior Art

Conventional type of positioning a cord within a reel is the application of steel beads. As shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, the reel A10 comprises a front cover A1, a spiral spring A2, a sliding seat A3, a transmission cord A4, a positioning steel bead A5 and a rear cover A6. In this conventional structure, the sliding seat A3 contains the spiral spring to restore the transmission cord A4 to its original position. The steel bead A5 slides within the sliding seat A3 so as to position the cord A4. The bottom section of the sliding seat A3 has a passage A31 so that the steel bead A5 could roll, engage and disengage within the passage A31. Thus when the sliding seat A3 is pulled at a high speed and high speed retraction, the steel bead passage A31 will also in operation. Under this condition, the steel bead passage A31 under a high speed rotation, does not comply the requirements of stable engaging and sliding, thus extreme gap and error are formed. Relatively, design on rail is difficult and high precision is needed. Thus the cost of producing the rail is high. In addition, when there is a friction and the error on the gap is too large, the dislocation of the steel bead A5 is expected and thus, the function of positioning is lost. As a result, frequent dislocation of cord in the reel is common occurred and the longevity is lost.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The primary purpose of the present invention is to provide an improved positioning structure for a reel comprising two corresponding external caps, a reeling disc, a leading cord, a spiral spring and a positioning ball, characterized in that the leading cord is respectively surrounding onto the external edge face of the upper frame position and the lower frame position, the cord in respective frame position are in opposite loosening and tightening state, and the upper frame is the pulling cord and the lower frame is the ready-to-rotate cord, and the cord is restricted by the positioning structure; the external cap has an inner edge face mounted with a multifunctional rail allowing the steel ball to position the cord in corresponding to counterclockwise rotation and clockwise rotation, urging the positioning ball to loosen and tighten the cord alternately, and the positioning ball is arranged at the sliding slot within the inner slot of the edge face of the reeling disc.

Yet another object of the present invention is to provide an improved positioning structure for a reel, wherein the multifunctional rail is provided at the inner edge face of the outer cover and is fixed, avoiding the generation of noise as a result of the gap.

Still yet another object of the present invention is to provide an improved positioning structure for a reel, wherein the positioning steel ball mounted at the edge face of the reeling disc will reduce the frictional force generated by the edge face of the reeling face, thus the stress on the spiral spring is reduced.

The foregoing object and summary provide only a brief introduction to the present invention. To fully appreciate these and other objects of the present invention as well as the invention itself, all of which will become apparent to those skilled in the art, the following detailed description of the invention and the claims should be read in conjunction with the accompanying drawings. Throughout the specification and drawings identical reference numerals refer to identical or similar parts.

Many other advantages and features of the present invention will become manifest to those versed in the art upon making reference to the detailed description and the accompanying sheets of drawings in which a preferred structural embodiment incorporating the principles of the present invention is shown by way of illustrative example.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

The following descriptions are of exemplary embodiments only, and are not intended to limit the scope, applicability or configuration of the invention in any way. Rather, the following description provides a convenient illustration for implementing exemplary embodiments of the invention. Various changes to the described embodiments may be made in the function and arrangement of the elements described without departing from the scope of the invention as set forth in the appended claims.

Referring to FIGS. 1 and 2, there is shown a positioning structure of cord in a reel comprising two corresponding external covers 1.2, a reeling cord 3, a leading cord 4, a spiral spring 5 and a positioning bead. The center end of the spiral spring 5 is secured with an engaging slot 12 at the center shaft 11 within the external cover 1. The external end of the spiral spring 5 is connected to the engaging slot 31 provided at the reeling disc 3. When the reeling disc 3 rotates clockwise or counter clockwise, the spiral spring 5 within the reeling disc 3 to form into loosening or tightening mechanism, and the tightening state provides essential power for restoration position of the reel.

The interior of the reeling disc 3 provides a similar leading cord 4 to move along the reeling disc 3 and reversely surround the cord onto the reeling disc 3, and the upper frame and the lower frame divide the leading cord 4, wherein the upper frame is surrounded to form into the pulling leading cord 4 and the lower frame is surrounded to form into a ready-to-rotate leading cord 4′. The pulling leading cord 4 and the ready-to-rotate cord 4′ are of opposite direction with corresponding length, and the number of circles and the length of the cord will be diminished by the ready-to-rotate leading cord 4′. Thus, when the pulling leading cord 4 is pulled, the ready-to-rotate leading cord 4′ will rotate clockwise in accordance with the reeling disc 3, and the cord 4 becomes loose so as to correspond to the pulled out section of the pulling cord 4. Oppositely, when the pulling cord 4 is reeled to restored to its original position, the ready-to-rotate leading cord 4′ will reversely rotate in accordance with the reeling disc 3, this will cause the ready-to-rotate leading cord 4′ to become tight so as to correspond to the number of circles of rotation and the length of cord 4. Thus, the ready-to-rotate cord 4′ free from the pulling cord 4, the pulling leading cord end 41 and the ready-to-rotate leading cord 41′ end are respectively mounted with the electrical connecting end or the signal connector. Thus, the positioning structure is best arrangement of the reel.

In accordance with the present invention, the characteristics of the positioning structure are that the positioning bead 6 is provided to the inner edge of the external cover 2 corresponding to the reeling disc 3, wherein the inner edge face of the external cover 2 is provided with a multi-functional rail 21 in combination with the positioning bead 6 to provide a clockwise and counterclockwise movement of the reeling disc 3 such that the positioning bead 6 provides alternately a loosening and tightening operation of cord.

As shown in FIG. 3, the positioning bead 6 is mounted within the sliding groove 31 of the edge face of the reeling disc 3 such that the positioning bead 6 forms into an engaged sliding movement.

In accordance with the present invention, the multifunctional rail 21 is secured and stable, this will mitigate the drawback of the conventional steel bead following the movement of the sliding seat and the generation of noise.

It will be understood that each of the elements described above, or two or more together may also find a useful application in other types of methods differing from the type described above.

While certain novel features of this invention have been shown and described and are pointed out in the annexed claim, it is not intended to be limited to the details above, since it will be understood that various omissions, modifications, substitutions and changes in the forms and details of the device illustrated and in its operation can be made by those skilled in the art without departing in any way from the spirit of the present invention.
