Abstract:
A seamless simulated stone panel has a top edge, a bottom edge, two side edges, a front surface, a rear surface, stone-like patterns, at least one engaging portion and at least one mounting recess. The stone-like patterns are formed on the front surface and has at least one non-straight stone overhang formed along the stone-like patterns. The at least one engaging portion is optionally formed on the top edge. The at least one mounting recess is optionally defined in the bottom edge. After lightweight, user friendly and seamless simulated stone panels are assembled on a surface, a natural looking stone wall is easily and quickly achieved.

Claims:
What is claimed is:

1. A seamless simulated stone panel comprising: a top edge, a bottom edge, two side edges, a front surface, a rear surface, stone-like patterns formed on the front surface having at least one edge, and at least one non-straight stones overhang formed along the at least one edge of the stone-like pattern, at least one engaging portion formed on the top side edge or one of the side edge and having an inclined surface formed on the top side edge or one of the side edge and being from the front surface to the rear surface of seamless simulated stone panel, and at least one mounting recess defined in bottom side edge or the other side edge of the seamless simulated stone panel for holding the engaging portion of an adjacent seamless simulated stone panel and having an inclined surface formed on the bottom edge or the other side edge and being from the front surface to the rear surface of seamless simulated stone panel.

2. The seamless simulated stone panel as claimed in claim 1, wherein the seamless simulated stone panel further comprises a recess defined in the rear surface of the base.

3. The seamless simulated stone panel as claimed in claim 2, wherein the rear surface of the seamless simulated stone panel further comprises multiple slots respectively defined in the rear surface and communicating with the recess.

4. The seamless simulated stone panel as claimed in claim 1, wherein the rear surface of the seamless simulated stone panel further comprises multiple slots respectively defined in the rear surface.

5. The seamless simulated stone panel as claimed in claim 1, wherein two engaging portions are respectively formed on the top edge and one of the side edges, and two mounting recesses are respectively defined in the bottom edge and the other side edge.

Description:

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a seamless simulated stone panel, and more particularly to a seamless simulated stone panel that is convenient for assembling.

2. Description of Related Art

Stonewall built by traditional stone is often used to decorate an appearance of a building. However, building stone wall by stones is heavy and experienced workers are necessary to construct stone wall. Therefore, cost for constructing stonewall is high and to assemble stonewall is inconvenient.

Building stonewall by stones in a preconfigured panel definitely increases the efficiency of building stone wall. However, making the horizontal and vertical joint where panels connect to each other seamless is a challenge.

To overcome the shortcomings, the present invention tends to provide a seamless, lightweight and user friendly to assemble simulated stone panel to mitigate the aforementioned problems.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The primary objective of the present invention is to provide a seamless simulated stone panel that is convenient for construction.

A seamless simulated stone panel has a top edge, a bottom edge, two side edges, a front surface, a rear surface, stone-like patterns, at least one engaging portion and at least one mounting recess. The stone-like patterns are formed on the front surface and has at least one non-straight stones overhang formed along the stone-like patterns. The at least one engaging portion is optionally formed on the top edge. The at least one mounting recess is optionally defined in the bottom edge.

After lightweight, user friendly and seamless simulated stone panels are assembled on a surface, a natural looking stone wall is easily and quickly achieved.

Other objects, advantages and novel features of the invention will become more apparent from the following detailed description when taken in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.

FIG. 1 is a rear perspective view of a seamless simulated stone panel in accordance with the present invention;

FIG. 2 is a top view of the seamless simulated stone panel in FIG. 1;

FIG. 3 is a cross sectional side view of the seamless simulated stone panel in FIG. 1;

FIG. 4 is an operational cross sectional side view of the seamless simulated stone panel in FIG. 1 when assembling onto a wall; and

FIG. 5 is a front view of the seamless simulated stone panels in FIG. 1 assembling together.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

To solve the shortcomings of the conventional stone panel, the present invention intends to provide a seamless simulated stone panel that has stone-like patterns on a front surface and has connecting elements for combining multiple seamless simulated stone panels.

With reference to FIGS. 1 to 3, a seamless simulated stone panel (10) has a top edge, a bottom edge, two side edges, a front surface, a rear surface, stone-like patterns (11), a recess (12), multiple slots (13), at least ode engaging portion (14) and at least one mounting recess (15). The stone-like patterns (11) are formed on the front surface of the seamless simulated stone panel (10) and may have multiple colors on the stone-like patterns (11). The stone-like pattern (11) has at least one stones overhang (111) formed along an edge of the stone-like pattern (11). The recess (12) is defined in the rear surface of the seamless simulated stone panel (10) for eliminating weight. The multiple slots (13) are respectively defined in the rear surface of the seamless simulated stone panel (10) and communicate with the recess (12). The multiple slots (13) allow water to pass through. The at least one engaging portion (14) is optionally formed on the top edge or one of the side edge and has an inclined surface (141). The inclined surface (141) is formed at the top edge or the side edge and is from the front surface to the rear surface of the seamless simulated stone panel (10). The mounting recess (15) is optionally formed on the bottom edge or the other side edge of the seamless simulated stone panel (10) for holding the engaging portion (14) of an adjacent seamless simulated stone panel (10). The mounting recess (15) has an inclined surface (151). The inclined surface (151) is formed at the bottom edge or the other side edge and is from the front surface to the rear surface of the seamless simulated stone panel (10). The inclined surface (151) on the mounting recess (15) is parallel to and corresponds to the inclined surface (141) in the engaging portion (14) of the seamless simulated stone panel. When two seamless simulated stone panels (10) are combined, the inclined surface (151) of one simulated stone panel (10) wholly contacts with the inclined surface (141) of the other simulated stone panel (10) with no crevices. In a preferred embodiment, two engaging portions (14) are respectively formed on the top edge and one of the side edges, and two mounting recesses (15) are respectively defined in the bottom edge and the other side edge.

With reference to FIGS. 4 and 5, multiple seamless simulated stone panels (10) are mounted on a wall (40) to assemble together. The inclined surface (151) on the mounting recess (15) contacts wholly with the inclined surface (141) of the engaging portion (14) on an adjacent simulated stone panel (10) with no crevices. Accordingly, multiple simulated stone panels (10) can be combined without a gap. In rainy days, rain may passes between the seamless simulated stone panels and wall along the slots (13) defined in the rear surface of the seamless simulated stone panel (10). Therefore, the seamless simulated stone panels (10) will provide an excellent water-draining function. Furthermore, the seamless simulated stone panels (10) may be made of PU foam for eliminating the weight of the seamless simulated stone panel (10).

The advantage of the seamless simulated stone panel (10) of the present invention is described as follows.

The seamless simulated stone panels (10) are connected together smoothly, and the edges of the seamless simulated stone panel (10) are formed along the stones overhang (111) of the stone-like pattern and are not straight lines. Furthermore, the stone overhang (111) of the stone-like patterns (11) on the panel could cover a joint formed between the engaging portion (14) and the mounting recess (15) when multiple panels connect to each other as shown in FIGS. 4 and 5. By having stone overhang (111) optionally formed at the side edges of the panel (10), joints formed between the engaging portions (14) and mounting recesses (15) are completely concealed under stone overhang (111) to achieve seamless stone wall. The present invention not only provides seamless simulated stone panels when they connect to each other but also provides lightweight and user friendly features to greatly enhance the speed of building stonewall. Therefore, after lightweight, user friendly and seamless simulated stone panels (10) are assembled on a surface, a natural looking stone wall is easily and quickly achieved.

It is to be understood, however, that even though numerous characteristics and advantages of the present invention have been set forth in the foregoing description, together with details of the structure and function of the invention, the disclosure is illustrative only, and changes may be made in detail, especially in matters of raw material used, shape, size, installing surface and arrangement of parts within the principles of the invention to the fill extent indicated by the broad general meaning of the terms in which the appended claims are expressed.
