Abstract:
A non pull cord operated blind structure comprises a cordless blind having a set of vertical-type lateral elements symmetrically arranged at both sides of a blind body and sequentially led through passages of multiple elongated pieces of the blind body wherein the upper ends of the lateral elements are appropriately fixed to the underside of a headrail, and the lower ends thereof are led through eccentrically molded thru-holes of an adjusting board attached to the bottom edge of the blind body before fixedly attached to a bottom sidewall thereon. The headrail is fixed to a top sidewall, and the adjusting board is obliquely slanted downwards with the bottom edge of one elongate side supported by the bottom sidewall. Therefore, the cordless blind can easily control the collection and expansion of the blind body without using any pull cords to avoid the danger of strangling children, facilitating saver operation thereby.

Claims:
What is claimed is:

1. A non pull cord operated blind structure, comprising a cordless blind made up of a set of vertical-type lateral elements symmetrically attached at the underside of a headrail and stretched straight to sequentially pass through a plurality of passages disposed at both left and right sides of a blind body thereon, and then through a set of eccentrically molded thru-holes disposed at both sides of an adjusting board attached to the bottom edge of the blind body thereof before the lower ends of the lateral elements are fixedly attached to a bottom sidewall thereon; therefore, depending on the need of a user, the adjusting board can be horizontally held in a flat position and moved upwards or downwards along the lateral elements thereof so as to collect or expand the blind body thereby in a speedy and easy manner; besides, via the eccentrically molded thru-holes thereof, the adjusting board can be obliquely slanted downwards in limiting position, and via the resisting effect provided by the frictional coefficient generated between the inner wall of the eccentrically molded thru-holes and the lateral elements led there-through, the adjusting board can be stably located so as to keep the blind body at an adjusted position without the use of any pull cords applied thereto, facilitating an easier and saver operation thereof.

2. The non pull cord operated blind structure as claimed in claim 1 wherein the lateral elements thereof can be made of strings or cords thereof.

3. The non pull cord operated blind structure as claimed in claim 1 wherein the blind body of the cordless blind thereof has a plurality of elongated pieces attached thereto.

Description:

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

The present invention is related to a non pull cord operated blind structure, comprising a set of vertical-type lateral elements symmetrically arranged and stretched straight to pass through passages disposed at both left and right sides of a blind body and then through eccentrically molded thru-holes of an adjusting board attached to the bottom edge of the blind body. Therefore, the adjusting board can be horizontally held and moved up or down so as to collect or expand the blind body thereby, or obliquely slanted downwards in limiting position so as to locate the blind body at an adjusted height without the use of any pull cords applied thereto, facilitating an easier and saver operation thereof.

A conventional blind structure usually found on the market is made up of a roller gear set reciprocally operated with a pull cord set and a string ladder set, which are tediously assembled in a rather time-consuming and painful manner. Besides, when the blind body thereof is raised in a collected state, the pull cord will suspend downwards and exposed outside for a certain length. As a result, children playing around can easily get caught in the dangling pull cord that, if the children are not released immediately there-from or when the lift cord is unfixed to raise upwards, can accidentally strangle and hurt the children caught therein. Thus, the conventional blinds are quite unsafe in application thereof.

SUMMARY OF THE PRESENT INVENTION

It is, therefore, the primary purpose of the present invention to provide a non pull cord operated blind structure, comprising a cordless blind equipped with a set of vertical-type lateral elements symmetrically arranged and stretched straight to pass through passages disposed at both left and right sides of a blind body and then through eccentrically molded thru-holes of an adjusting board attached to the bottom edge of the blind body. Therefore, the adjusting board can be horizontally held in a flat position and moved up or down along the lateral elements so as to easily and speedily collect or expand the blind body thereby, and via the resisting effect provided by the frictional coefficient generated between the eccentrically molded thru-holes and the lateral elements led there-through, the adjusting board obliquely slanted downwards is stably located so as to keep the blind body at an adjusted position without the use of any pull cords applied thereto, facilitating an easier and saver operation thereof.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

Please refer to FIG. 1 showing a perspective view of the present invention (accompanied by FIGS. 2, 3). The present invention is related to a non pull cord operated blind structure, comprising a cordless blind 10 made up of a blind body 12, and a set of vertical-type lateral elements 11 (like strings or cords) symmetrically arranged at both left and right sides thereon and sequentially guided through passages 14 of a plurality of elongated pieces 13 attached in equal space at the blind body 12 thereon. The upper ends of the lateral elements 11 are appropriately fixed to the underside of a headrail 15, and the lower ends thereof are respectively led through an eccentrically molded thru-hole 161 disposed at both sides of an adjusting board 16 attached to the bottom edge of the blind body 12 before the lateral elements 11 are stretched straight to be fixedly attached to a bottom sidewall 20 thereon. The headrail 15 of the blind body 12 is fixedly mounted to a predetermined position of a top sidewall 20, and the adjusting board 16 is obliquely slanted downwards with the bottom edge of one elongated side supported by the bottom sidewall 20 for limiting position thereby.

Please refer to FIG. 4 showing the adjusting board of the present invention moved upwards. In operation, the oblique adjusting board 16 is horizontally held in a flat position and raised upwards along the lateral elements 11 to collect the blind body 16 sequentially stacking up in folds on top of the uplifted adjusting board 16 until reaching an appropriate height. Then, the levelly held adjusting board 16 is released to slant obliquely downwards via the eccentrically molded thru-holes 161 as shown in FIG. 5, permitting the upper and lower contact edges of each lateral element 11 led through the eccentrically molded thru-hole 161 to draw a diagonal angle with the inner wall of the thru-hole 161 and form abutting edges A therewith as shown in FIG. 7. Via the frictional coefficient generated at the abutting edges A to resist the gravity force thereof, the adjusting board 16 stopped from falling downwards thereby can be stably held in place so as to keep the blind body 12 at a desirable collected position thereby (referring to FIGS. 6, 7). To suspend the blind body 12 of the cordless blind 10 downwards, the obliquely tilt adjusting board 16 is levelly held and moved downwards along the lateral elements 11 so as to expand the collected blind body 12 therewith into an appropriate height or with the adjusting board 16 abutted against the bottom sidewall 20, and the adjusting board 16 is then released to slant downwards in a state of limiting location thereby. Therefore, the cordless blind 10 of the present invention is easily and speedily operated to collect or expand the blind body 12 without the use of any pull cords to avoid the danger of strangling or hurting children due to the dangling pull cords of the conventional blind structure, achieving safer operation thereby.

Please refer to FIG. 8 showing an assembled cross sectional view of another embodiment of the present invention. The lateral elements 11 thereof can also be directly led through a plurality of matching passages 121′ disposed at both lateral sides of the blind body 12′ thereon, and both upper and lower ends of the lateral elements 11 are respectively attached to the headrail 15 and the bottom sidewall 20 thereon.

Furthermore, the cordless blind 10 thereof can be made into various types of blinds such as the Roman blinds as shown in FIGS. 1, 2, the hobbled Roman shades as shown in FIG. 3, or the pleated blinds as shown in FIG. 8, etc.
