A helical stacked composite hose comprises a helical body being a helical long strip; each cross section of the helical body having a flat portion facing toward a center of the helical body; an inner cloth enclosing the helical body; an inner surface of the inner cloth having a flat cambered shape; a plurality of thin film layers enclosing the inner cloth; an outer cloth winding around the film layers so as to form as a round cylinder layer; an outer helical spring being installed around the outer cloth; a rubber cover being formed with a recess; the inner cloth, film layers, outer cloth being embedded into the recess; a ferrule enclosing the outer surface of the rubber cover and the outer cloth; a joint having a stepped outer layer. A cross section of the strip of the helical body is a triangular, pentagon and semi-round.

Claims:
What is claimed is:

1. A helical stacked composite hose comprising: a helical body being a helical long strip; each cross section of the helical body having a flat portion facing toward a center of the helical body; an inner cloth being a strong flexible cloth which enclose the helical body so as to form a round cover; an inner surface of the inner cloth having a flat cambered shape so that fluid can pass through the inner cloth smoothly; a plurality of thin film layers enclosing the inner cloth; the film layers winding around the inner cloth several turns; an outer cloth being a strong flexible cloth; the outer cloth winding around the film layers so as to form as a round cylinder layer; an outer helical spring being installed around the outer cloth; the outer helical spring having a strong structure and having the effect of protecting the interior structure; a rubber cover made of annular soft rubber; the rubber cover being formed with a recess; the inner cloth, film layers, outer cloth being embedded into the recess and being fixed therein; a front end of the rubber cover being formed with an cambered edge so as to make the assembly work easy; a ferrule being an annular fixing protecting cover; the ferrule enclosing the outer surface of the rubber cover and the outer cloth; a front inner side of the ferrule being formed with a tapered opening; and a joint having a stepped outer layer; an interior of the joint being formed as a round hole; an end of the joint with a larger outer diameter being formed with thread and another end of the joint with a smaller diameter being formed with a helical structure so as to match with the helical body; and a middle section of the joint being used to match with the tapered opening of the ferrule.

2. The helical stacked composite hose as claimed in claim 1, wherein a cross section of the strip of the helical body has a triangular shape, and the flat side of the triangular faces toward the center of the helical body.

3. The helical stacked composite hose as claimed in claim 1, wherein a cross section of the strip of the helical body has a pentagon shape, and a flat side of the triangular faces toward the center of the helical body.

4. The helical stacked composite hose as claimed in claim 1, wherein a cross section of the strip of the helical body has a semi-round shape, and a flat side of the triangular faces toward a center of the helical body.

Description:

FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to composite hoses, and in particular to a helical stacked composite hose, wherein a cross section of the strip of the helical body may be a triangular, a pentagon or a semi-round. Each cross section of the helical body has a flat portion facing toward a center of the helical body.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

In the prior art helical stacked composite hose, a composite hose is made by a wire having a round cross section, as shown in FIG. 1. Thereby the inner side of the composite hose is formed as a wave-like structure. When fluid flows through the inner side of the composite hose, a turbulent flow is formed (A in FIG. 1) so that the flow resisting force is high due to the turbulent flow, the speed of the fluid flow is slow and amount of the flow is small.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

Accordingly, the primary object of the present invention is to provide a helical stacked composite hose which comprises a helical body being a helical long strip; each cross section of the helical body having a flat portion facing toward a center of the helical body; an inner cloth enclosing the helical body; an inner surface of the inner cloth having a flat cambered shape; a plurality of thin film layers enclosing the inner cloth; an outer cloth winding around the film layers so as to form as a round cylinder layer; an outer helical spring being installed around the outer cloth; a rubber cover being formed with a recess; the inner cloth, film layers, outer cloth being embedded into the recess; a ferrule enclosing the outer surface of the rubber cover and the outer cloth; a joint having a stepped outer layer. A cross section of the strip of the helical body is a triangular, pentagon and semi-round.

The various objects and advantages of the present invention will be more readily understood from the following detailed description when read in conjunction with the appended drawing.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

In order that those skilled in the art can further understand the present invention, a description will be described in the following in details. However, these descriptions and the appended drawings are only used to cause those skilled in the art to understand the objects, features, and characteristics of the present invention, but not to be used to confine the scope and spirit of the present invention defined in the appended claims.

Referring to FIGS. 2 to 6, the helical stacked composite hose of the present invention is illustrated. The present invention has the following elements.

A helical body 1 is a helical long strip. A cross section of the strip of the helical body 1 may be a triangular 2, a pentagon 3 (referring to FIG. 4) or a semi-round 4 (referring to FIG. 3). Each cross section of the helical body 1 has a flat portion 5 facing toward a center of the helical body 1.

An inner cloth 6 is a strong flexible cloth which enclose the helical body 1 so as to form a round cover. An inner surface of the inner cloth 6 has a flat cambered shape so that fluid could pass through the inner cloth smoothly.

A plurality of thin film layers 7 enclose the inner cloth 6. The film layers 7 wind around the inner cloth 6 several turns. The material of the film layers 7 is plastic material, such as PE, PP, etc.

An outer cloth 8 is a strong flexible cloth. The outer cloth 8 winds around the film layers 7 so as to form as a round cylinder layer.

An outer helical spring 9 is installed around the outer cloth 8. The outer helical spring 9 has a strong structure and has the effect of protecting the interior structure.

A rubber cover 10 is made of annular soft rubber. The rubber cover 10 is formed with a recess 11. The inner cloth 6, film layers 7, outer cloth 8 are embedded into the recess 11 and are fixed therein. A front end of the rubber cover 10 is formed with a cambered edge 12 so as to make the assembly work easy.

A ferrule 13 is an annular fixing protecting cover. The ferrule 13 encloses the outer surface of the rubber cover 10 and the outer cloth 8. A front inner side of the ferrule 13 is formed with a tapered opening 14.

A joint 15 has a stepped outer layer 16. An interior of the joint 15 is formed as a round hole. An end of the joint 15 with a larger outer diameter is formed with thread 17 and another end of the joint 15 with a smaller diameter is formed with a helical structure so as to match with the helical body 1. A middle section 16 of the joint 15 is used to match with the tapered opening 14 of the ferrule 13.

Referring to FIGS. 2, 3, 4, and 5, in application of the present invention, as assembled helical stacked composite hose 19 is screwed to a fluid joint by the thread 17 of the joint 15. When fluid flows through the inner surface of the inner cloth 6, since the inner surface is smooth, the fluid flows smoothly without turbulent flow so as to increase the efficiency in fluid transfer.

Besides, the helical body 1 is a helical long strip. A cross section of the strip of the helical body 1 may be a triangular 2, a pentagon 3 (referring to FIG. 4) or a semi-round 4 (referring to FIG. 3). Each cross section of the helical body 1 has a flat portion 5 facing toward a center of the helical body 1.

The present invention is thus described, it will be obvious that the same may be varied in many ways. Such variations are not to be regarded as a departure from the spirit and scope of the present invention, and all such modifications as would be obvious to one skilled in the art are intended to be included within the scope of the following claims.
