Abstract:
A completely burning device for a candle is disclosed. It mainly comprises a base and a movable cover. A wind-resistant decorating portion can be added. This base has an upper recess with a heat conducting rod. The movable cover is movable vertically on the base. This movable cover includes a heat-conducting conical portion, a horizontal extending portion and a covering portion. By using this invention, the candle can completely burn. This invention is wind-resistant. It is easy to clean up after completely burning. It has a beautiful appearance. And, the manufacturing cost is lowered.

Claims:
What is claimed is:

1. A completely burning device for a candle comprising: a base having an upper recess, said upper recess being disposed with a heat conducting rod for securing a candle and for conducting heat to said upper recess, said upper recess having a upper supporting edge and at least one venting hole; and a movable cover having a predetermined weight and being movable vertically on said base, said movable cover including: (a) heat-conducting conical portion having a central hole, an inner sloped surface and a lower edge; (b) horizontal extending portion extending from said lower edge and corresponding to said upper supporting edge; and (c) covering portion for covering outside said base with an air gap.

2. The completely burning device for a candle as claimed in claim 1, further comprising: a wind-resistant decorating portion having a connecting portion for securing on said movable cover.

3. The completely burning device for a candle as claimed in claim 1, further comprising: a lamp screen connecting with said base.

4. The completely burning device for a candle as claimed in claim 3 further comprising: a wind-resistant decorating portion having a connecting portion for securing on said movable cover.

Description:

BACKGROUND OF INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to an auxiliary device for a candle. Particularly, it relates to a completely burning device for a candle. In this invention, the candle can completely burn. This invention is wind-resistant. It is easy to clean up after completely burning. It has a beautiful appearance. And, the manufacturing cost is lowered.

2. Description of the Prior Art

Referring to FIG. 8, it is a traditional candle seat 90 with a burning candle 80 thereon. Its disadvantages includes:

[1] The burning candle will drip and cannot completely burn. While the candle 80 is burning, a lot of drips 81 generate. Some of these drips 81 will stay around the outer surface and the bottom of the candle 80. These drips 81 will become solid eventually. Such solid stuff is very hard to clean up. In addition, at the final stage of this burning process, the remaining candle 80 will totally melt out as a liquid state. At this moment, its wick will fall down because of lack of support. Then, it will stop burning. Finally, the liquid object will become solid later. This solid object is very hard to clean up (or to be scraped off).

[2] Its appearance is poor. While this candle 80 is burning, these poor-looking drips 81 appear. Once the user stops the candle's flame, these solid drips will stick on the outer surface of the candle 80. Thus, the appearance of the used candle 80 is poor.

[3] It is not wind-resistant. The flame of the traditional candle 80 is easily to be influenced (or the flame is gone) by the wind, especially in an outdoor location (such as outside of a temple or a church). So, it is not wind-resistant.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The primary object of the present invention is to provide a completely burning device for a candle. In which, the candle can completely burn. There is no waste.

The second object of the present invention is to provide a completely burning device for a candle. It is wind-resistant, is easy to clean up after completely burning and has a beautiful appearance.

The other object of the present invention is to provide a completely burning device for a candle. In this invention, the manufacturing cost is lowered.

In order to achieve above-mentioned objects, a technical solution is provided as follows. A completely burning device for a candle comprises:

a base having an upper recess, said upper recess being disposed with a heat conducting rod for securing a candle and for conducting heat to said upper recess, said upper recess having a upper supporting edge and at least one venting hole; and

a movable cover having a predetermined weight and being movable vertically on said base, said movable cover including:

(a) heat-conducting conical portion having a central hole, an inner sloped surface and a lower edge;

(b) horizontal extending portion extending from said lower edge and corresponding to said upper supporting edge; and

(c) covering portion for covering outside said base with an air gap.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

Referring to FIGS. 1 and 2, the present invention is a completely burning device for a candle. It mainly comprises a base 10 and a movable cover 20.

Concerning this base 10, it has an upper recess 11. The upper recess 11 is disposed with a heat conducting rod 12 for securing a candle 40 and for conducting heat to the upper recess 11. This upper recess 11 has an upper supporting edge 111 and at least one venting hole 112.

With regard to this movable cover 20, it has a predetermined weight and is movable vertically on the base 10. The movable cover 20 including:

(a) a heat-conducting conical portion 21 having a central hole 211, an inner sloped surface 212 and a lower edge 213;

(b) a horizontal extending portion 22 extending from the lower edge 213 and corresponding to the upper supporting edge 111;

(c) a covering portion 23 for covering outside the base 10 with an air gap (connecting with the venting hole 112);

Of course, a wind-resistant decorating portion 30 can be added. The wind-resistant decorating portion 30 has a connecting portion 31 for securing on the movable cover 20. The shape of wind-resistant decorating portion 30 can be cylindrical, conical, curved or any other specific shape. It preferably is semi-transparent so that the light of the candle can emit out warmly and softly.

As shown in FIGS. 3 to 5, they show three burning stages when the candle 40 burns. In FIG. 3, the movable cover 20 is placed on a top conical portion 41 of the candle 40. At this stage, the wick 42 of this candle 40 starts to burn. The top of the candle 40 has a higher temperature, so that the top of the candle 40 is melted as a liquid state (limited by the heat-conducting conical portion 21) near the burning wick 42. Gradually, the heat also transfers to the heat-conducting conical portion 21. Thus, this hot heat-conducting conical portion 21 will soften the contacting portion of this candle 40.

Gradually, due to the weight of the movable cover 20, the movable cover 20 tends to press down the softened contacting portion of the candle 40. The candle 40 gradually becomes shorter. Also, the movable cover 20 will gradually move down. Referring to FIG. 4, the movable cover 20 lowers to a position that just contacts with (and supported by) the upper supporting edge 111 base 10.

As the candle 40 continues to burn, the heat will transfer to the upper recess 11 via the heat conducting rod 12 (that contacts with the wick 42 and flame). Thus, the remaining candle 40 will completely melt out as a liquid (or nearly-liquid) state as shown in FIG. 5. The function of the venting holes 112 is to provide some fresh air inside the upper recess 11. Also, the remaining short wick 42 still burns (the flame is small as shown in FIG. 5) until the candle 40 is completely burned.

So, the remaining candle 40 finally becomes a liquid state and it can completely or almost completely burn. There is no waste.

In addition, referring to FIGS. 6 and FIG. 7, they are the second and the third preferred embodiments. The base 10 can be modified and further includes a lamp screen 13 (also having the wind-resistant function). Therefore, this invention becomes a lamp related product (by providing the candle's warm light instead of electric bulb's light).

Thus, the advantages and functions of the present invention can be summarized as follows.

[1] The candle can completely burn. Due to the unique design of the movable cover and related elements, the candle can completely burn. There is no waste. It will solve the dripping problem and minimize the waste of used candles.

[2] it is wind-resistant. Because the wind-resistant decorating portion or the lamp screen can be added, it can effectively block the wind. Therefore, once the candle is burned, it can keep this burning condition stable so that this invention is wind-resistant.

[3] It is easy to clean up after completely burning. After the candle has been burned, there is no waste (or just a little waste). The clean-up work for the candle's drips is prevented. Thus, it is easy to clean up after completely burning.

[4] It has a beautiful appearance. Depending on the user's requirement, the base (including the lamp screen), the movable cover and the wind-resistant decorating portion can be designed to have a beautiful appearance.

[5] The manufacturing cost is lowered. Because the heat-conducting conical portion and the horizontal extending portion of the movable cover can be made by simply punching or pressing a metal plate, its manufacturing cost can be lowered.

The above embodiments are only used to illustrate the present invention, not intended to limit the scope thereof. Many modifications of the above embodiments can be made without departing from the spirit of the present invention.
