Pertains to above ground pool covers of Oval, Oblong and Round pools. The Aluminum or steel framework is attached to and incorporated into the structure of new and existing above ground pools. This framework is then used again as the stand-alone framework to accept a canopy cover, either square or round, thereby providing shade and comfort.
A multi purpose aluminum or steel round tubing framework that can be adjustable in the directions of height, width and length in various increments. This framework is to be used for existing and new above ground pools that are either round, oval or oblong. This framework allows for a vinyl or plastic pool cover to fit over the said framework and attach to the top rail of the said pool. Various clips, Velcro and or a cable anchor is then used for a secure and tight fit. This framework is adjustable and locking in various increments to adapt to the different styles and designs of round, oval and oblong above ground pools on the market today. This framework and pool cover is used during the winter months and provides a surface and pitch that allows rain, snow, ice, leaves and any other debris to simply slide off. This framework can then be disassembled as a pool cover framework and reassembled in various forms as either a twelve (12) foot by twelve (12) foot square or as a twelve (12) foot round gazebo. A waterproof canopy cover can then be attached to the said framework by the use of Velcro straps. This canopy cover can then be used to provide shade and comfort during the spring, summer and fall months. Optional screening can be attached to the said framework during the spring thru fall months.
This invention is designed to provide a pool cover during the winter months which eliminates the accumulation of snow, ice, rain water, leafs, dirt and debris inherent with the current standard pool covers. During the spring, summer and fall months this same framework accepts a waterproof canopy cover that provides shade and comfort for the owner. This framework allows for various degrees in angles with respect to height, that can range from zero (0) degrees (flat) to forty five (45) degrees, from front to back and from side to side. This allows for the same framework to expand or contract, lock into place at various increments with spring buttons attached to the inner tube of the framework, and by using a slotted or grooved inner tube to prevent rotation between the inner and outer tube and allows for the expansion and contraction of said framework to meet with the various pool manufacture's designs and styles with respect to length and width or round. This unique design, flexibility and multipurpose use makes this invention substantially different from all current patents for pool covers and pool cover framework. Another unique feature to this invention is that the same framework used in covering the pool during the winter months is then used to create a square or round framework to accept a tent/canopy cover.
A twelve foot (12′) by twelve foot (12′) square canopy tent top is included and provided with each Pro Top. In addition to the square canopy tent top an optional twelve foot (12′) round or gazebo canopy tent top can be purchased. These canopy tent tops are attached to the said framework by the use of Velcro strips. Another unique feature of the Pro Top pool cover, manufactured in vinyl or plastic, will be to accept the logo or emblem of any NFL team, NBA team, NHL team, MBL team and NASCAR logo or emblem or that logo or emblem of any corporation or organization which has or owns a copyright or trademark. Each Pro Top includes two (2) emblems or logos on each cover. These emblems or logos would be proportionate to the size of the oblong, oval or round cover. The waterproof canopy tent cover is included with each purchase of the Pro Top and is in the standard size of a twelve foot (12′) by twelve foot (12′) square. A twelve foot (12′) round or gazebo waterproof canopy tent cover is available as an option.
These advantages, along with the list of options, possibilities and features, create a unique invention, which is pointed out with particularity in the claims annexed to and forming a part of this disclosure. For a better understanding of the invention, it's operating advantages and the specific advantages by it's multipurpose uses, reference should be made to the accompanying drawings and descriptive matter in which there is illustrated preferred embodiments of the invention.

Fittings: Overview of fittings “A thru D” used in framework
All tubing is to be manufactured in either aluminum or steel. One (1) inch round diameter, outer tubing indented with one eight (⅛) inch depression along the entire length. A one quarter (¼) inch diameter hole is to be drilled along the entire length of the outer tubing spaced three (3) inches apart on center. All inner tubing that is indented with one eight (⅛) inch depression along the entire length. The Inner tubing is inserted into the outer tubing, and is to be compatible with the outer tubing. The one eight (⅛) inch depressions into each piece are to align to prevent twisting or turning when both pieces are together The Inner tubing incorporates a spring button attached to each end. This allows for the inner tubing to lock into the outer tubing for incremental adjustments in height, length or width
