Claims:
1. A connector for beverage stirrers that can be used to create an unlimited number of cubical configurations by pushing stirrers on pegs of connectors.

2. A connector for beverage stirrers that can be used to create an unlimited number of triangular configurations by pushing stirrers on pegs of connectors.

Description:

SUMMARY

This invention relates to and is to be used with round beverage stirrers, the ones used with hot beverages (such as coffee or tea) or cocktail straws; herein referred to as stirrers. There are a number of these stirrers on the market, in a variety of lengths and colors. The two types of connectors in this invention can be used to create an unlimited number of cubical and triangular configurations by connecting these stirrers together.

DESCRIPTION

The first connector described has six pegs. Each peg is at a right angle (90 degrees) to the others adjacent to it. (See FIG. 1, Connector A.) These pegs are ½″ long with a diameter of approximately the inside diameter of the plastic beverage stirrers so that when pushed on the pegs, they will fit snugly. The connectors are molded either of plastic or styrene plastic. Any number of cubic three-dimensional configurations can be made by connecting them together as in the example shown in FIG. 1. The connector is used at all joint intersections regardless if all 6 pegs are used or not.

The second connector described has twelve pegs. Each peg varies in its relation to the others it is adjacent to. (See FIG. 2, Connector B.) The four top and four bottom pegs are at 45 degrees to the vertical and rotated 45 degrees horizontally from the four center pegs. The four top pegs are at 60 degrees to each adjacent top peg and the four bottom pegs are also at 60 degrees to each adjacent bottom peg. The four center pegs are horizontal at 90 degrees to each other. These twelve pegs are also ½″ long and of the same diameter and material Any number of triangular or “space frame” three-dimensional configurations can be made by connecting them together as in the example shown in FIG. 2.
