Description:

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

(a) Technical Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to shore or river bank reclamation structure, and in particular, to a structure connected on water surface so that the carrier surface on the water is extended into land.

(b) Description of the Prior Art

Major cities around the world are short of land for development. One way to solve the problem is by enclosing an area and filing up the enclosed area; the other method is by withdrawing sand to form new land. This will extend the land area for various applications such as for building factory site, hotels, resorts, etc. This method will permanently destroy the shore and river banks, which may not be able to recover. Accordingly, it is an object of the present invention to provide a shore or river bank reclamation structure which mitigates the above drawback.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

Accordingly it is an object of the present invention to provide a shore or river bank reclamation structure comprising a securing body positioned at the shore, having an external side provided with a plurality of main positioning elements; and at least one hollow connecting body having one side facing the securing body being provided with at least an engageable positioning element which is in engagement with the main positioning elements to form into a connection for the connection body and the securing body, the reverse side of the securing body being provided with at least one engaging securing element so that the engaging securing element and the engageable securing element are connected, and the bottom face of the connection body being at least one anchoring element.

Yet still another object of the present invention is to provide a shore or river bank reclamation structure, wherein the connection body is provided with two lateral faces which are facing and corresponding to each other, and the lateral side facing the other lateral side is provided with a combining securing element, the other lateral side is provided with at least one combinable securing element such that the two connection bodies are connected via the securing element.

A further object of the present invention is to provide a shore or river bank reclamation structure wherein the anchoring element includes connection element connected to the connection body and the connection body is connected to a hinges of various length, and the hinge is provided with an anchoring element to the hinge.

The foregoing object and summary provide only a brief introduction to the present invention. To fully appreciate these and other objects of the present invention as well as the invention itself, all of which will become apparent to those skilled in the art, the following detailed description of the invention and the claims should be read in conjunction with the accompanying drawings. Throughout the specification and drawings identical reference numerals refer to identical or similar parts.

Many other advantages and features of the present invention will become manifest to those versed in the art upon making reference to the detailed description and the accompanying sheets of drawings in which a preferred structural embodiment incorporating the principles of the present invention is shown by way of illustrative example.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing a single connection body forming into a combination of shore or river bank structure for land reclamation in accordance with the present invention.

FIG. 2 is a schematic view showing the single connection body forming into a combination of shore or river bank structure for land reclamation in accordance with the present invention.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

The following descriptions are of exemplary embodiments only, and are not intended to limit the scope, applicability or configuration of the invention in any way. Rather, the following description provides a convenient illustration for implementing exemplary embodiments of the invention. Various changes to the described embodiments may be made in the function and arrangement of the elements described without departing from the scope of the invention as set forth in the appended claims. Referring to FIGS. 1 to 2, there is shown a shore or river bank reclamation structure having a securing body 10 and at least one hollow connection body 20. That is, the present structure comprises the securing body 10 and a plurality of connection bodies 20.

The securing body 10 has an external face 12 (being a vertical face or a slanting face) provided with a plurality of main engaging securing elements 11 which could be provided in corresponding to the individual connection body 20 (in the drawing, a main engaging securing element 11 being corresponding to a connection body 20). The connection body 20 facing the lateral side 27 of the securing body 10 is provided with an engageable securing element 2 for connection to with the main engaging securing body 11, such that the connection body 20 is connected by the engageable securing element 21 and the main engaging securing element 11 of the securing body 10. This will cause the connection body 20 secures to the securing body 10.

The connecting body 20 at the reverse lateral side 28 of the external lateral side 12 of the securing body is provided with at least an engaging securing element 22 such that between two connection bodies 20, 20 the engaging securing element 22 and the engageable securing element 21 are connected and positioned. The two lateral faces (faces 26, 29) of the connection bodies 20 are provided with at least one engaging securing element 23 and at least one engageable securing element 24 so that the two bodies 20, 20 connected with the engaging securing element 23 or the engageable securing element 24. Thus, the connection are connected by using the engageable securing element 21, the engaging securing element 22 and the positioning element 23, and the mounting element 24 to form into a combination structure 2. The combination structure 2 is mounted at the securing body 10, and this is the shore 1.

In accordance with the present invention, the main engaging securing element 11, the engaging securing element 22, and the engageable securing element 24 in the drawings are shown as T-shaped slot, but dovetail slot or semicircular slot is also available. The engageable positioning element 21, the positioning element 23 are T-shaped protruded structure, dovetail shape or semicircular protruded structure is also available.

The bottom face of the connection body 20 is connected to an anchoring element 30 having a connection element 33 connected to the connection body 20. The connection element 33 is connected to a hinge 31 which is then connected to an anchoring element 32. The hinge 31 is of various lengths is for the uneven surface under water 3 and to avoid the floating of the main combination structure 2 (it is formed for various connection body 20). The chain 31 is of elasticity.

The anchoring element 30 is first connected to the connection body 20 and is then secured under water. In accordance with the present invention, the main combination structure 2 can be of various size. In some occasions, the anchoring element 30 may be neglected.

The top face of the connection 20 is connected to one or more securing elements 25 by welding, engaging or locking. The top face is then covered with a covering element 34.

While the invention has been described with respect to preferred embodiments, it will be clear to those skilled in the art that modifications and improvements may be made to the invention without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention. Therefore, the invention is not to be limited by the specific illustrative embodiment, but only by the scope of the appended claims.

It will be understood that each of the elements described above, or two or more together may also find a useful application in other types of methods differing from the type described above.

While certain novel features of this invention have been shown and described and are pointed out in the annexed claim, it is not intended to be limited to the details above, since it will be understood that various omissions, modifications, substitutions and changes in the forms and details of the device illustrated and in its operation can be made by those skilled in the art without departing in any way from the spirit of the present invention.
