1. Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to a cosmetics container having an outstanding appearance, and more particularly to a cosmetics container, wherein the reflective face of the top cover co-operates with the colored plate to produce a colorful optical reflective effect, and the refractive face of the top cover produces a refractive effect, thereby enhancing the aesthetic quality of the cosmetics container.
2. Description of the Related Art
A conventional cosmetics container in accordance with the prior art shown in FIGS. 13-15 comprises a main body 10, and a top cover 20 mounted on the main body 10. The main body 10 has a top formed with an annular lip 12. The lip 12 of the main body 10 has an inner wall formed with a chamber 11 and an outer wall formed with an outer thread 121. The top cover 20 has an inside formed with a mounting recess 21 to receive the lip 12 of the main body 10. The mounting recess 21 of the top cover 20 has a wall formed with an inner thread 211 screwed on the outer thread 121 of the lip 12 of the main body 10.
However, the consumer cannot directly see cosmetics contained in the chamber 11 of the main body 10, thereby largely decreasing attraction to the consumer. In addition, the main body 10 and the top cover 20 of the conventional cosmetics container lacks variation of colors or patterns, thereby decreasing the aesthetic quality of the conventional cosmetics container.
The primary objective of the present invention is to provide a cosmetics container, wherein the reflective face of the top cover co-operates with the colored plate to produce a colorful optical reflective effect, and the refractive face of the top cover produces a refractive effect, thereby enhancing the aesthetic quality of the cosmetics container so that the cosmetics container has an outstanding appearance.
Another objective of the present invention is to provide a cosmetics container, wherein the colored plate can be removed and replaced, thereby enhancing variation of the aesthetic quality of the cosmetics container.
In accordance with the present invention, there is provided a cosmetics container, comprising:

FIG. 15 is a side plan cross-sectional assembly view of the conventional cosmetics container as shown in FIG. 13.
Referring to the drawings and initially to FIGS. 1-6, a cosmetics container in accordance with the preferred embodiment of the present invention comprises a main body 30, a top cover 40, and a colored plate 50.
The main body 30 is made of transparent or translucent material. The main body 30 has an inside formed with a receiving space 31 containing cosmetics 33 (see FIG. 5) therein. The main body 30 has top face provided with a stepped annular protruding flange 32 extending upward therefrom. The protruding flange 32 of the main body 30 has an outer periphery provided with a plurality of equally spaced inverted L-shaped snapping plates 321.
The top cover 40 is made of transparent or translucent material. The top cover 40 is mounted on the main body 30 and has a bottom face formed with a circular mounting recess 41 to receive the protruding flange 32 of the main body 30. The mounting recess 41 of the top cover 40 has an inner periphery provided with a plurality of equally spaced rectangular locking blocks 411 each snapped into a respective one of the snapping plates 321 of the protruding flange 32 of the main body 30. The mounting recess 41 of the top cover 40 has a bottom wall provided with an annular reflective face 412. The reflective face 412 of the mounting recess 41 of the top cover 40 has a periphery provided with a stepped edge 413 rested on the protruding flange 32 of the main body 30. The top cover 40 has a top face provided with a multi-angled refractive face 42.
The colored plate 50 is bonded on a surface of the stepped edge 413 of the mounting recess 41 of the top cover 40 and is located under the reflective face 412 of the top cover 40. The colored plate 50 is a circular plate having a single color, multiple colors or laser patterns.
In assembly, the top cover 40 is mounted on the main body 30 and the protruding flange 32 of the main body 30 is mounted in the mounting recess 41 of the top cover 40. Then, the top cover 40 is rotated relative to the main body 30, so that each of the locking blocks 411 of the top cover 40 is rotated and snapped into a respective one of the snapping plates 321 of the protruding flange 32 of the main body 30 as shown in FIG. 6, thereby locking the top cover 40 on the main body 30.
In practice, the reflective face 412 of the top cover 40 co-operates with the colored plate 50 to produce a colorful optical reflective effect, and the refractive face 42 of the top cover 40 produces a refractive effect, thereby enhancing the aesthetic quality of the cosmetics container so that the cosmetics container has an outstanding appearance. In addition, the colored plate 50 can be removed and replaced, thereby enhancing variation of the aesthetic quality of the cosmetics container.
Referring to FIGS. 7-12, a cosmetics container in accordance with another embodiment of the present invention comprises a main body 30, a top cover 60, and a colored plate 70.
The main body 30 is made of transparent or translucent material. The main body 30 has an inside formed with a receiving space 31 containing cosmetics 33 (see FIG. 11) therein. The main body 30 has top face provided with a stepped annular protruding flange 32 extending upward therefrom. The protruding flange 32 of the main body 30 has an outer periphery provided with a plurality of equally spaced inverted L-shaped snapping plates 321.
The top cover 60 is made of transparent or translucent material. The top cover 60 is mounted on the main body 30 and has a bottom face formed with a circular mounting recess 61 to receive the protruding flange 32 of the main body 30. The mounting recess 61 of the top cover 60 has an inner periphery provided with a plurality of equally spaced rectangular locking blocks 611 each snapped into a respective one of the snapping plates 321 of the protruding flange 32 of the main body 30. The mounting recess 61 of the top cover 60 has a bottom wall provided with an annular reflective face 612. The reflective face 612 of the mounting recess 61 of the top cover 60 has a periphery provided with a stepped edge 613 rested on the protruding flange 32 of the main body 30. The reflective face 612 of the mounting recess 61 of the top cover 60 has an inner side provided with a convex lens 614.
The colored plate 70 is bonded on a surface of the stepped edge 613 of the mounting recess 61 of the top cover 60 and is located under the reflective face 612 of the top cover 60. The colored plate 70 is an annular plate having a single color, multiple colors or laser patterns.
In assembly, the top cover 60 is mounted on the main body 30 and the protruding flange 32 of the main body 30 is mounted in the mounting recess 61 of the top cover 60. Then, the top cover 60 is rotated relative to the main body 30, so that each of the locking blocks 611 of the top cover 60 is rotated and snapped into a respective one of the snapping plates 321 of the protruding flange 32 of the main body 30 as shown in FIG. 12, thereby locking the top cover 60 on the main body 30.
In practice, the reflective face 612 of the top cover 60 co-operates with the colored plate 70 to produce a colorful optical reflective effect, and the convex lens 614 of the top cover 60 produces an optical amplifying effect, thereby enhancing the aesthetic quality of the cosmetics container so that the cosmetics container has an outstanding appearance. In addition, the colored plate 70 can be removed and replaced, thereby enhancing variation of the aesthetic quality of the cosmetics container.
Although the invention has been explained in relation to its preferred embodiment(s) as mentioned above, it is to be understood that many other possible modifications and variations can be made without departing from the scope of the present invention. It is, therefore, contemplated that the appended claim or claims will cover such modifications and variations that fall within the true scope of the invention.
