Claims:

What is claimed is:



1. A molded paper decoration item is comprised of two hollow halves and one or multiple sheets of lining paper characterized by that: the hollow half being molded using pulp and left dried; the lining paper being sandwiched between two hollow halves to adhere, support and reinforce both hollow halves; either the lining paper or the cut of the hollow half being applied with adhesive to stick both hollow halves into a spherical item with the lining paper in the middle; and the surface of the item being further treated to become a hollow paper decoration item for suspension.

2. A molded paper decoration item as claimed in claim 1, wherein, the hollow half of the item is made as an asteroid, spheroid or any other style.

3. A molded paper decoration item as claimed in claim 1 or 2, wherein, a half stud is provided at the top of the hollow half of the item to form a complete stud for suspension purpose when both hollow halves are stick to each other.

4. A molded paper decoration item as claimed in claim 1 or 2, wherein, the lining paper may be in the form identical to that of the cut of the hollow half of the item to be adhered to both cuts of two hollow halves of the item.

5. A molded paper decoration item as claimed in claim 1 or 2, wherein, two sheets of lining paper are used with each adhered to the cut of the hollow half of the item before both hollow halves of the item are stick to each other.

A molded paper decoration item as claimed in claim 1 or 2, wherein, two sheets of lining paper are used with having an opening in a shape matching that of the cut of the hollow half of the item; and an edge is protruding from the circumference of the opening to be adhered to the inner wall to the peripheral of the hollow half of the item before both sheets of lining paper are stick to each other to join both hollow halves of the item.

A molded paper decoration item as claimed in claim 1 or 2, wherein, the lining paper is made in a shape of a clamp ring and multiple cuts are provided respectively on the surface of a lining to facilitate adhesion the lining paper to the inner wall to the peripheral of the respective cut of both hollow halves of the item.

A molded paper decoration item as claimed in claim 1 or 2, wherein, the clamp ring shape lining paper is punched into multiple teeth alternatively folded in opposite direction facing respective hollow half of the item to be adhered to the inner wall to the peripheral of the cut of each hollow half of the item.

9. A molded paper decoration item as claimed in claim 1 or 2, wherein, the surface of the spherical item joined by two hollow halves is painted, coated, stick with a pattern or adapted with other decoration item.

10. A molded paper decoration item as claimed in claim 1 or 2, wherein, an electronic music device or a light emission device is built in the spherical decoration item.

Description:

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0001] (a) Field of the Invention

[0002] The present invention is related to a molded paper decoration item, and more particularly, to a suspension item made of paper for decoration purpose that is environmental compliance.

[0003] (b) Description of the Prior Art

[0004] Suspension items are almost a must in occasions of Xmas day or other holidays, or having a party to help create the happy atmosphere. Particularly, on the Xmas day, various types of decorations are suspension on an Xmas tree to display an amicable air either indoors or outdoors. Whereas, suspension decoration items for these occasions require being lightweight and versatile in style, Xmas suspension decoration items, among others, are generally made of plastic materials by using the blow molding process, or made of polystyrene by using the injection molding process. However, plastic decoration items for being very stubborn to get disintegrated, present negative impacts upon the environment and additional costs in waste treatment. These problems can be eliminated should paper materials with higher environmental benefits be used instead of the plastic materials.

[0005] But paper materials are not suitable for the blow or injection molding process. With the injection molding process, the hollow decoration item gets too heavy (unlikely the polystyrene materials used in the injection molding process) to prevent it from being suspension. It also consumes too excessive pulps to meet environmental purpose.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0006] The primary purpose of the present invention is to provide a molded suspension item for decoration purpose that is environmental. To achieve the purpose, paper is used instead of plastics and the item is comprised of two hollow halves, adhered with lining paper.

[0007] Another purpose of the present invention is to provide a molded suspension item for decoration purpose. Wherein, each hollow half is provided with at its top a half stud, which when joined with another stud from the other hollow half of the item to allow the item to be suspended.

[0008] Another purpose of the present invention is to provide a molded suspension item for decoration purpose. Wherein, both hollow halves can be of any shape, e.g., an asteroid, semi-spheroid, as long as both hollow halves are made in symmetric.

[0009] Another purpose of the present invention is to provide a molded suspension item for decoration purpose. Wherein, one or more than one lining paper in sheet or clamp ring shape is used to adhere both hollow halves of the item.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

[0022] Referring to FIGS. 1, 2, and 3, a preferred embodiment of the present invention is essentially comprised of two symmetric hollow halves 1 of an item and one or more than one lining paper 2. Wherein, pulp is hot pressed in conjunction with the mold at a temperature of 100° C. or higher and dried into a hollow molded half in a style of a spheroid, asteroid (as illustrated in FIG. 11), or any other styles (as illustrated in FIG. 12) provided in a proper thickness. A hollow half stud 11 is provided at the top of the hollow half 1 of the item so to form a complete hollow stud 12 to be tied with, inserted with, or put through a cord 3 for suspending the item when both hollow halves 1 are joined together.

[0023] The lining paper 2 is sandwiched between two hollow halves 1 to adhere, support and reinforce both hollow halves 1. In the preferred embodiment, the lining paper 2 relates to a sheet of paper with an opening provided at the center as illustrated in FIG. 3.

[0024] Either on both sides of the surface of the lining paper 2 or on the cut of each hollow half 1 is applied with adhesive for both hollow halves 1 to be bound in a spherical item. Once the hollow stud 12 is formed, it can be tied with, inserted with, or put through the cord 3 for suspending the spherical decoration item as illustrated in FIG. 2. The surface of the spherical item can be painted, coated, or stick with a pattern or attached with an additional decoration items 4 as illustrated in FIG. 2, or an electronic music device or a light emission device 5 can be built in side the spherical item as illustrated in FIG. 1 to make it a perfect decoration item for the occasion of Xmas.

[0025] Whereas the present invention is made of two hollow halves 1 adhered to each other with a lining paper 2, it can be easily produced into two hollow halves 1 by hot press with the mold containing pulp to overcome the problem that pulp is not a proper material to be used in blow molding process. The present invention is entirely made of paper to achieve the purpose of environmental purpose much better than the conventional decoration items made of polystyrene or other plastic materials.

[0026] Two sheets of lining paper 2 may be used to respectively adhered to the cut of each hollow half 1 before sticking both hollow halves 1 to each other as illustrated in FIG. 4. Or, alternatively, as illustrated in FIGS. 5 and 6, the lining paper 2 may have provided at its center an opening 21 to match the cut of the hollow half 1 and a protruding edge 22 is provided on the circumference of the opening 21 so to adhere to the inner wall to the peripheral of the cut of the hollow half 1 before sticking two hollow halves 1 into one spherical item and cutting off the excessive part of the lining paper 2 surrounding the seam where both hollow halves 1 meet.

[0027] Now referring to FIGS. 7 and 8, the lining paper 2 may be made in the form of a clamp ring in relation to the form of the cut of the hollow half 1; and multiple cuts 23 are provided on the surface of the lining paper 2 to form multiple adhesion parts 24 to facilitate adhering the lining paper 2 to the inner wall to the peripheral of the cut of the hollow half 1 when both hollow halves 1 are stick to each other into one spherical item. Furthermore, as illustrated in FIGS. 9 and 10, the lining paper 2 may be punched into a multiple teeth 25 and alternatively folded into opposite direction to be respectively adhered to the cuts of both hollow halves 1 to become a spherical item. It is to be noted that the shape of the lining paper 2 may vary as applicable.
