Abstract:
A multi-flame type lighter, comprising a housing, an ignition mechanism mounted in the housing, a supply mechanism mounted in the housing, and a flame outlet seat mounted in the housing. Thus, the supply mechanism only needs to provide a single gas supply pipe to be connected to the flame outlet seat, so as achieve the purpose of a multi-flame source, thereby simplifying the parts and construction of the multi-flame type lighter, thereby decreasing the cost of production and fabrication, and thereby facilitating maintenance of the parts. In addition, the multi-flame type lighter only needs to provide a single gas supply pipe and a single flame outlet seat, so that the volume of the multi-flame type lighter may be greatly reduced.

Claims:

What is claimed is:



1. A multi-flame type lighter, comprising a housing, an ignition mechanism mounted in the housing, a supply mechanism mounted in the housing, and a flame outlet seat mounted in the housing, wherein: the housing has a top formed with an opening for mounting an insulator; the ignition mechanism is mounted in the housing; the supply mechanism is mounted on a bottom of the housing, and includes a gas storage container, and a gas supply pipe connected to the gas storage container; and the flame outlet seat is mounted in the insulator of the opening of the housing, and has a lower portion provided with a main duct connected to the gas supply pipe of the supply mechanism and an upper portion provided with a plurality of branch ducts each having a lower end connected to the main duct, the lower portion of the flame outlet seat is formed with a plurality of air inlet holes each communicating with the main duct.

2. The multi-flame type lighter in accordance with claim 1, wherein the lower portion of the flame outlet seat is in turn provided with a plug, a misting plate and a connecting tube, and the connecting tube is connected to the gas supply pipe of the supply mechanism.

The multi-flame type lighter in accordance with claim 1, further comprising a positioning seat mounted in the upper portion of the flame outlet seat and formed with a plurality of positioning holes, and a plurality of ratchet blocks each mounted in a respective one of the positioning holes of the positioning seat and each connected to a respective one of the branch ducts of the flame outlet seat.

4. The multi-flame type lighter in accordance with claim 3, further comprising a plurality of flame separation rings each mounted on a respective one of the ratchet blocks.

5. The multi-flame type lighter in accordance with claim 3, wherein each of the ratchet blocks has a center formed with a flame outlet hole connected to an upper end of a respective one of the branch ducts of the flame outlet seat.

6. The multi-flame type lighter in accordance with claim 3, wherein each of the ratchet blocks has a periphery formed with a plurality of tooth gaps.

Description:

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0001] 1. Field of the Invention

[0002] The present invention relates to a multi-flame type lighter, and more particularly to a multi-flame type lighter having a simpler construction with fewer parts, thereby decreasing costs of production and fabrication, and thereby facilitating maintenance of the parts.

[0003] 2. Description of the Related Art

[0004] A conventional multi-flame type lighter in accordance with the prior art shown in FIG. 1 comprises a housing 10, a gas storage container 11 mounted in the housing 10, a plurality of gas pipes 12 mounted in the housing 10 and connected to the gas storage container 11, an insulator 16 gas storage container 11, a positioning seat 17 mounted in the insulator 16, a set screw 18 extended through the positioning seat 17 and screwed into the housing 11 for fixing the positioning seat 17 in the housing 10, and a plurality of flame outlet tubes 13 each mounted in the positioning seat 17 and each connected to one of the gas pipes 12. Each of the flame outlet tubes 13 has a wall formed with an air inlet 14 and has a top formed with a flame outlet 15. Thus, the gas enters each of the flame outlet tubes 13 to mix with the air in the air inlet 14, so that the flame is ejected outward from the flame outlet 15.

[0005] However, the conventional multi-flame type lighter in accordance with the prior art has the following disadvantages.

[0006] 1. The conventional multi-flame type lighter needs to provide a plurality of gas pipes 12 and a plurality of flame outlet tubes 13, thereby complicating the parts and construction of the conventional multi-flame type lighter, and thereby increasing the cost of fabrication.

[0007] 2. The conventional multi-flame type lighter needs to provide a plurality of gas pipes 12 and a plurality of flame outlet tubes 13, thereby occupying a great deal of space, so that the volume of the conventional multi-flame type lighter cannot be reduced.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0008] The present invention has arisen to mitigate and/or obviate the disadvantage of the conventional multi-flame type lighter.

[0009] The primary objective of the present invention is to provide a multi-flame type lighter, wherein the supply mechanism only needs to provide a single gas supply pipe to be connected to the flame outlet seat, so as achieve the purpose of a multi-flame source, thereby simplifying the parts and construction of the multi-flame type lighter, thereby decreasing the cost of production and fabrication, and thereby facilitating maintenance of the parts.

[0010] Another objective of the present invention is to provide a multi-flame type lighter which only needs to provide a single gas supply pipe and a single flame outlet seat, so that the volume of the multi-flame type lighter may be greatly reduced.

[0011] A further objective of the present invention is to provide a multi-flame type lighter, wherein the flame outlet seat is provided with a plurality of branch ducts each connected to the main duct so as to evenly conduct the gas contained in the main duct, while the lower portion of the flame outlet seat is formed with a plurality of air inlet holes each communicating with the main duct and is provided with a misting plate, so that the gas may be mixed with the air evenly and entirely.

[0012] A further objective of the present invention is to provide a multi-flame type lighter, wherein each of the ratchet blocks has a center formed with a flame outlet hole connected to a respective one of the branch ducts of the flame outlet seat, and each of the ratchet blocks has a periphery formed with a plurality of tooth gaps that may mate with the respective flame separation ring, so that the gas passed through each of the branch ducts of the flame outlet seat may be fully combusted, thereby enhancing the gas combustion efficiency.

[0013] In accordance with the present invention, there is provided a multi-flame type lighter, comprising a housing, an ignition mechanism mounted in the housing, a supply mechanism mounted in the housing, and a flame outlet seat mounted in the housing, wherein:

[0014] the housing has a top formed with an opening for mounting an insulator;

[0015] the ignition mechanism is mounted in the housing;

[0016] the supply mechanism is mounted on a bottom of the housing, and includes a gas storage container, and a gas supply pipe connected to the gas storage container; and

[0017] the flame outlet seat is mounted in the insulator of the opening of the housing, and has a lower portion provided with a main duct connected to the gas supply pipe of the supply mechanism and an upper portion provided with a plurality of branch ducts each having a lower end connected to the main duct, the lower portion of the flame outlet seat is formed with a plurality of air inlet holes each communicating with the main duct.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0024] Referring to FIGS. 2-5, a multi-flame type lighter in accordance with a preferred embodiment of the present invention comprises a housing 20, an ignition mechanism 21 mounted in the housing 20, a supply mechanism 22 mounted in the housing 20, and a flame outlet seat 30 mounted in the housing 20.

[0025] The housing 20 has a top formed with an opening 201 for mounting an insulator 202.

[0026] The ignition mechanism 21 is mounted in the housing 20, for igniting the spark.

[0027] The supply mechanism 22 is mounted on the bottom of the housing 20, and includes a gas storage container 222, and a gas supply pipe 221 connected to the gas storage container 222, for conveying the gas contained in the gas storage container 222 outward.

[0028] The flame outlet seat 30 is mounted in the insulator 202 of the opening 201 of the housing 20, and has a lower portion provided with a main duct 32 connected to the gas supply pipe 221 of the supply mechanism 22 and an upper portion provided with a plurality of (preferably three) branch ducts 31 each having a lower end connected to the main duct 32. The lower portion of the flame outlet seat 30 is formed with a plurality of air inlet holes 33 each communicating with the main duct 32. The lower portion of the flame outlet seat 30 is in turn provided with a plug 34, a misting plate 35 and a connecting tube 36. The connecting tube 36 is connected to the gas supply pipe 221 of the supply mechanism 22.

[0029] The multi-flame type lighter further comprises a positioning seat 37 mounted in the upper portion of the flame outlet seat 30 and formed with a plurality of (preferably three) positioning holes 371, a plurality of (preferably three) ratchet blocks 38 each mounted in a respective one of the positioning holes 371 of the positioning seat 37 and each connected to a respective one of the branch ducts 31 of the flame outlet seat 30, and a plurality of (preferably three) flame separation rings 39 each mounted on a respective one of the ratchet blocks 38. Each of the ratchet blocks 38 has a center formed with a flame outlet hole 381 connected to an upper end of a respective one of the branch ducts 31 of the flame outlet seat 30. Each of the ratchet blocks 38 has a periphery formed with a plurality of tooth gaps 382.

[0030] Referring to FIG. 5, in the multi-flame type lighter in accordance with the present invention, the supply mechanism 22 only needs to provide a single gas supply pipe 221 to be connected to the flame outlet seat 30, so as achieve the purpose of a multi-flame source, thereby simplifying the parts and construction of the multi-flame type lighter, thereby decreasing the cost of production and fabrication, and thereby facilitating maintenance of the parts. In addition, the multi-flame type lighter only needs to provide a single gas supply pipe 221 and a single flame outlet seat 30, so that the volume of the multi-flame type lighter may be greatly reduced.

[0031] It is appreciated that, the flame outlet seat 30 is provided with a plurality of (preferably three) branch ducts 31 each connected to the main duct 32 so as to evenly conduct the gas contained in the main duct 32, while the lower portion of the flame outlet seat 30 is formed with a plurality of air inlet holes 33 each communicating with the main duct 32 and is provided with a misting plate 35, so that the gas may be mixed with the air evenly and entirely.
