Abstract:
This invention is a wire coiling box structure comprising of a top cover, a bottom cover, and a spring in between. When turning the top cover and the bottom cover, the spring will jack up the top cover and open the box. Then the extra wire can be put into the box through the opening and wound around the tube on the bottom cover. Press the two ends of the wire down into the gaps on the outer wall of the bottom cover, close the two covers, and turn them in reverse direction to fasten firmly. Then the extra wire is not only concealed in the box, but also hard to be pulled out by force.

Claims:

What I claimed here is:



1. A wire coiling box structure comprising of a top cover, a bottom cover, and a spring in between, in which: The said top cover and bottom cover both employ an arc cover structure, and each cover has a gap on its wall, which faces against each other; there is a shaft at the center of top cover, extending downwards, with a leading hole at the center of the it; several bulgy bars around the said shaft runs along the shaft's axis; there is a clip plate on surface of the shaft, with a projecting hook; because that the clip plate is formed by cutting a groove from the bottom end of the shaft, it is relatively elastic; there is a tube at the center of the bottom cover for the shaft on the top cover to plug in; at the center of the tube, a leading pole exits, which can extend into the leading hole of the shaft; a clipping groove is formed on the wall of the leading pole, facing against the clip of the shaft; the top of the clipping groove is a step structure, forming an upper top edge and a lower top edge; there is an horizontal dummy club formed on top of the bottom cover.

Description:
[0001] The main purpose of the invention is to provide a wire coiling box structure to contain extra electric wires, signal cables, or PC mouse cables in it. This structure can not only gracefully conceal extra wires, but also avoid the inconvenience result from possible tangling of the extra wire. In today's daily life, there may be various electric appliances in the same spot. And typically each electric appliance has a power cable of a certain length. However, in actual application cases, the cable may be shorter or longer than actual need. And if the cable is too short, an extension cable has to be used. Those “longer” cables and extension cables may make the environment messed up, and they may entangle each other, in some cases, even stumble passengers. Those scenes may happen for signal cables such as audio cables and PC cables, too.

[0002] This invention—a wire coiling box structure, provides an easy to open/close box structure comprising of a top cover and a bottom cover, which can contain extra wires or cables. And the two ends of the wire/cable concealed in the box can run out from the gaps on the outer wall of the bottom cover. In this way, the structure can gracefully conceal cables and avoid the inconvenience in application.

[0024] The main structure and working mechanism of this invention is shown in FIG. 1˜FIG. 3. The entire structure comprises of a top cover (10), a bottom cover (20), and a spring (30) between the top cover 10 and the bottom cover 20. When turning the top cover 10 and the bottom cover 20, the spring (30) will jack up the top cover 10, thus form an opening between the edges of the top cover 10 and the bottom cover 20. Then the extra wire/cable (40) can be put into the box through the opening and wound around the tube (21) on the bottom cover 20. The two ends can be pressed down into the gap (24) on the outer wall of the bottom cover 20. Then, close the two covers (10 and 20) and turn in reverse direction to fasten them together. In this way, the extra wire/cable can be concealed in the box, and can't be pulled out by force.

[0025] Please see FIG. 2 and FIG. 3 for the structure between the top cover and the bottom cover. The two covers (10 and 20) both employ an arc structure, and each of them has a gap (15 and 24) at the outer cover. There is a shaft (11) at the center of the top cover, extending downwards. At the center of the shaft there is a guiding hole (12) there are bulgy bars (111) around the shaft 12. A clip (13) exists on the surface between shaft 11 and guiding hole 12, forming a projecting hook (14). Since clip 13 is formed by cutting shaft 11 at the bottom end, it is relatively elastic. There is a tube (21) at the center of bottom cover 20 for shaft 11 on the top cover to pass through. At the center of tube 21, there is a guiding pole (22), which can go into guiding hole 12 of shaft 11. A block groove is formed on guiding pole 22 against shaft 11 on top cover 10. There is a step structure at the top of block groove 23, forming an upper top edge (231) and a lower top edge (232). A horizontal dummy club (211) is formed at the top of tube 21 on top cover. The assembly structure of top cover 10 and bottom cover 20 is shown in FIG. 2 and FIG. 5. Place spring 30 between tube 21 and guiding pole 22 on bottom cover 20 first, then fit guiding hole 12 on top cover over guiding pole 22 on bottom cover, and press top cover 10 downwards to make hook 14 of clip 13 wedge into block groove 23 of guide pole 22 on bottom cover 20. In this way, the two covers will be assembled together. At this stage, through spring 30 is compressed by the edge of shaft 11 on top cover 10, the two covers will not split apart because that hook 14 of clip 13 is clipped together with top edge 231 of block groove 23. The operator can put the extra wire/cable (40) in to the box through the opening between the two covers (10 and 20), and wind the wire/cable onto tube 21. The Dummy Club 211 on top of tube 21 will prevent wire/cable 40 from winding onto shaft 11 of top cover 10, which will cause top cover 10 unable to be pressed down.

[0026] When wire/cable 40 is wound onto tube 21, the operator can press down top cover 10, and turn it to lower top edge 232 of clip 23 at the same time, as shown in FIG. 6. In this way, hook 14 will clip onto lower top edge 232 to clip the two covers (10 and 20) firmly. Then wire/cable 40 will be concealed in the box. The two ends of wire/cable 40 will run out of the box through gap 15 and gap 24 on the two covers. Thus wire/cable 40 can be pull out by force. Whenever the user wants to use the extra wire, he/she can turn the top cover in reverse direction, and the spring will prop up the top cover to open the two covers. Then the wire can be pulled out. This invention is an easy to open/close box structure comprising of a top cover, a bottom cover, and a spring. It is both simple and tough, and the extra wire can be gracefully wound in the box, eliminating the inconvenience of usage and implement an applicable structure. I hereby apply for a new patent with it.
