Abstract:
A roller skate with generator design comprises a coil base and a generator, in general, wherein the roller skate has a sound and lighting circuit connected to the generator, a pair of side plates pivoted with wheels underneath the roller skate, the principle of generating electric power is to counter rotate a magnetic ring and an inductive coil, wherein the coil base comprises a cover and a pair of fins extending from respective sides, and a wheel has a wheel cover extending a pipe at its center for a shaft to insert there through and is adapted to secure the magnetic ring thereon, by securing the two fins onto the side plates of the roller skate with shafts, the coil base is also secured thereon, whereas the pipe will be inserted into the coil base with the magnetic ring inserted into the inductive coil, so that when rolling the roller skate, the magnetic ring rotates with respect to the inductive coil and generates electric power.

Claims:

I claim:



1. A roller skate with generator design comprising a coil base and a generator, wherein said roller skate providing a sound and lighting circuit connected to said generator, and a pair of side plates pivoted with wheels underneath of said roller skate, by rotating a magnet ring with respect to an inductive coil to generate electric power and supply to said sound and lighting circuit, and being characterized in that said coil base comprising a cover and having extended a pair of fins from respective sides, said cover comprising a hole for said magnet ring to insert there through, one of said side plates of said roller skate comprising a notch, and a wheel with respect to said notch having a wheel cover, said wheel cover having extending a pipe therefrom, adapted for a shaft to insert there through, and being secured with said magnet ring thereon, and whereas by placing said inductive coil into said coil base and sealed with said cover, and insert into said notch of said side plate, secure said fins onto said side plate, and insert said pipe into said inductive coil, whereas said magnet ring being located in said inductive coil, thus when rolling said roller skate, said magnet ring rotates with respect to said inductive coil to generate electric power.

Description:

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0001] 1. Field of the Invention

[0002] This invention relates to a roller skate and more particular to a roller skate with generator design to activate sound and lighting circuitry.

[0003] 2. Description of the Prior Art

[0004] A traditional roller skate currently on the market uses a generator to produce lighting effect, which comprises a permanent magnet and an inductive coil, and lighting elements on the skate connect to the inductive coil of the generator, thus when the inductive coil rotates with respect to the permanent magnet, according to the principle of the electric inductive, it generates electric power to activate the lighting system. However, this design uses the inductive coil and the magnetic ring to counter rotate to generate electricity, which limits the lighting elements to be on the wheels.

[0005] In view of this, the inventor has invented the present invention to improve the shortcomings

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0006] It is the primary object of the present invention to provide a roller skate with generator design, which produces sound and lighting effect that is more attractive to consumers.

[0007] It is another object of the present invention to provide a roller skate with generator design, which is more secure and lasts long.

[0008] It is a further object of the present invention to provide a roller skate with generator design, which is easy to install and inexpensive in manufacture.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

[0012] FIG. 1 shows a roller skate incorporated with the present invention, which includes a coil base 1, a generator 2 and the roller skate 3. The generator 2 is secured in the roller skate 3 and connected with a sound and lighting circuit 31 which comprises LED and or whistles electronic parts (wherein this description uses lighting elements as an example) and is secured by fasteners 311.

[0013] The generator 2 comprises a magnet ring 21 and an inductive coil 22, by rotating the magnet 21 and the inductive coil 22 in an opposite way, the inductive coil 22 shall produce electricity and activate the sound and lighting circuit 31.

[0014] The coil base 1 comprises a hole 11 at the center, a pair of fins 12 with fixation holes 121 extending from respective sides, and a cover 13 to cover the inductive coil 3 in the coil base 1. The cover 13 has a hole 131 for the magnet ring 21 to extend there through.

[0015] The roller skate 3 has a pair of side plates 34 at the bottom end thereof to secure wheels 32 and 33 thereat. A notch 341 is formed on one of the side plates 341 adapted to receive the coil base 1 therein. One side of the wheel 33 has a wheel cover 4 which has a pipe 41 extending from the center portion for a shaft 5 to insert there through. The wheel cover 4 also comprises a number of holes 42 for fasteners 43 to insert and secure the wheel cover 4 to the wheel 33.

[0016] To assemble the present invention, as shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the wheel cover 4 is inserted into the wheel 33 with the pipe 41 facing outwardly and secured by the fasteners 43, then the magnet ring 21 of the generator 2 is sleeved onto the pipe 41, thus forming an entire wheel 33. The inductive coil 22 is placed into the coil base 1 and covered with the cover 13, the coil base 1 is put onto the notch 34 of the wheel 33 whereas the fins 12 facing and engaging with the outer surface of the side plate 34. The wheels 32 and 33 are pivoted to the side plates 34 by inserting the shafts 5 through the fixation holes 121 of the fins 12 and the hole 11 of the coil base 1, and finally secured with a sleeve 51 and nuts 52 at the other end. Whereas the magnet ring 21 is inserted into the inductive coil 22, thus when rolling, the magnet ring 21 secured on the wheel 33 shall rotate with respect to the inductive coil 22 secured on the side plate 34, and the power generated will go through the inductive coil 22 to the sound and lighting circuit 31.
