[0001] The present invention relates to cases for cigarettes and more particularly to a non-slip case for a cigarette pack and accessories that includes a cigarette pack holding case having a top opening into a pack receiving cavity provided therein sized to receive therein a pack of cigarettes and an exterior surface thereof covered with a non-slip tacky material, such as restickable or pressure sensitive adhesive materials, to prevent the cigarette pack holding case from sliding out of a pocket of a shirt or the like; the cigarette pack holding case optionally including a flap securable over the top opening; a small item holding pocket with or without a sealable pocket flap; and a cigarette lighter holding cavity; when a cigarette lighter holding cavity is provided a cigarette lighter holding mechanism may be provided such as by constructing the cigarette lighter holding cavity within a resilient material for gripping the cigarette lighter and/or by providing a cigarette lighter holding cavity covering flap.
[0002] Many individuals loose packs of cigarettes because the cigarettes are covered with a slippery cellophane cover that allows the cigarette pack to slip out of the top pocket of a person's shirt without the person realizing the loss until it is too late to find the cigarettes. The cigarette packs also slip out the top pockets into puddles and other areas where the cigarettes are immediately ruined. It would be a benefit, therefore, to have a cigarette case for holding a cigarette pack that had an exterior surface covered with or constructed from a tacky material having sufficient tackiness to prevent the cigarette case from sliding out of a top pocket of a shirt when the person bent over.
[0003] It is thus an object of the invention to provide a non-slip case for a cigarette pack and accessories that includes a cigarette pack holding case having a top opening into a pack receiving cavity provided therein sized to receive therein a pack of cigarettes and an exterior surface thereof covered with a non-slip tacky material, such as restickable or pressure sensitive adhesive materials, to prevent the cigarette pack holding case from sliding out of a pocket of a shirt or the like.
[0004] Accordingly, a non-slip case for a cigarette pack and accessories is provided. The non-slip case for a cigarette pack and accessories includes a cigarette pack holding case having a top opening into a pack receiving cavity provided therein sized to receive therein a pack of cigarettes and an exterior surface thereof covered with a non-slip tacky material, such as restickable or pressure sensitive adhesive materials, to prevent the cigarette pack holding case from sliding out of a pocket of a shirt or the like.
[0005] In a preferred embodiment, the cigarette pack holding case includes a flap securable over the top opening.
[0006] In another preferred embodiment the cigarette pack holding case further includes a small item holding pocket. The small item holding pocket may be optionally provided with a sealable pocket flap.
[0007] In still another preferred embodiment, the cigarette pack holding case further includes a cigarette lighter holding cavity. When a cigarette lighter holding cavity is provided, a cigarette lighter holding mechanism may also be provided. The cigarette lighter holding mechanism may include constructing the cigarette lighter holding cavity within a resilient material and sizing the cigarette lighter holding cavity for gripping a cigarette lighter and may also include providing a cigarette lighter holding cavity covering flap.
