Process for preparing dye-receptive shaped articles
United States Patent 3274312

Abstract:
An olefin polymeric article is made by a process which includes the step of sintering a crystalline olefin polymer at 20-170 DEG C. with a basic nitrogen-containing polycondensate so as to improve dyeability. The exemplified polycondensates are those from n-octadecyl-amine or n-dodecyl-amine, epichlorohydrin and piperazine. The preferred olefin is propylene. Specifications 950,852, 992,011 and 1,006,581 are referred to.
