Claims:
The invention claimed is:

1. A pair of arm sleeves, each covering the wearer's arm, from the upper arm to the wrist of the wearer.

Description:

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

The present invention pertains to arm apparel and fashion accessories. More particularly, the present invention pertains to sleeves worn on the arms, that are not attached to any other article of clothing, extending from the upper arms to the wrists, made of a stretchable fabric.

Arm sleeves have numerous applications including providing warmth, hiding imperfections on the arms, and being a fashion statement. It does so without inhibiting movement or covering any other body parts. It is therefore a useful item for women.

Options for covering arms at the moment include long gloves, sweaters, shawls, or the like. An arm sleeve is therefore a novel fashion accessory, substantially different from what exists on the market right now.

Compression sleeves for arms are known, although primarily as medical devices that are used by individuals, especially athletes, suffering from arm ailments. These compression sleeves are generally unattractive and uncomfortable for individuals that do not require compression.

Thus, what is lacking and needed are novel coverings for the arms that do not cover other body parts or the wearer's outfit and that are comfortable, aesthetically appealing and fashionable.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

In response to the above-referenced unfulfilled need, new arm apparel has been invented. The fabric for the arm sleeve is a stretchable fabric, allowing flexibility of movement.

One embodiment of the arm sleeve includes a garment comprising a stretchable fabric, extending from the upper arm to the wrist. In each embodiment, the garment can include decorative details on the outside and trimming.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

Various features and advantages of the invention will be better understood from the following detailed description taken in conjunction with the drawing, wherein:

FIG. 1 is a front view of one embodiment of the arm sleeve according to the present invention; it is shown on a wearer's arm for illustrative purposes.

FIG. 2 is a top view of the pattern for the arm sleeve.

DESCRIPTION

The present invention will now be described more fully in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which the preferred embodiment of the invention is shown. This invention should not, however, be construed as limited to the embodiment set forth herein; rather, it is provided so that this disclosure will be complete and will fully convey the scope of the invention to those skilled in the art.

As herein shown, the arm sleeve (1), covers the upper arm (2) and the lower arm (3). The arm apparel is formed from a stretchable fabric, allowing ease of movement and enabling flexibility in the elbow area (4). It also permits the arm sleeve to remain secured on the upper arm without sliding off. The specific kind of fabric is not an essential criterion. Various fabric will be used. The pattern of the arm sleeve (FIG. 2) shows the rectangular piece of fabric (5). It will be joined along the sides (6 and 7) to create the arm sleeve.
