As shown therein, the present invention is directed to a tent structure for partially protecting an upper body of a human. The tent structure is fabricated in a compact size and is designed so as to partially protect an upper body of a human and includes a body 10, a support member 12, an anti-insect net 14, and an opening 20.

The body 10 according to the present invention has a semi-spherical shape based on the support member 12, with the anti-insect net 14 being provided at an outer side of the same, and with an inner space being opened to the outside. Here, the body 10 is designed in a minimum size to have a design range so that arms and head do not touch the body in an upper body of an adult user is received in the tent and is fabricated using a certain material such as nylon, vinyl, tetron, etc. having an excellent water resistance and durability. The inner space is hollow and is semi-spherical by the support member 12.

The support member 12 is made of a fiberglass having a good flexibility and elastic force, with both ends of the same being fixed at the corners of the body 10 in a state that it is inserted into a connection piece 10a. The above construction will be provided later in details with reference to FIG. 4. The connection piece 10a is protruded and crossed with each other in the body, with the center of the same being cut away for thereby receiving the support member 12 therein. The elastic force of the support member 12 is adapted to pull the body 10 through the connection piece 10a for thereby maintaining a semi-spherical shape.

At this time, the support member 12 may be folded in minimum size when carrying or storing the body 10. The above construction will be provided in details later with reference to FIGS. 5 and 6.

The body 10 has an anti-insect net 14 so that an inner space is open to the outside. The anti-insect net 14 is a net structure finished at the opening 10b provided so as to ventilate into the inner space of the body 12. Air is ventilated and prevents insects such as mosquito, fly, etc. from being inputted. The anti-insect net 14 is designed with a maximum width in consideration with the entire durability of the body 10 so as to achieve smooth air ventilation.

At this time, a zipper 40 is provided at a rim of the anti-insect net 14, namely, at a boundary between the body 10 and the anti-insect net 14, so that the inner space of the body is selectively opened or closed. The above construction will be provided in details later with reference to FIGS. 7 and 8.

The opening 20 of the present invention is extended to one side so as to communicate with the inner space of the body 10 and includes a sealing member at the end of the same. The opening 20 is an entrance opened so as to receive the upper body of the human and is designed to in a hollow container shape using the same material as the body 10. It is separately fabricated and then is assembled for easier fabrication.

A sealing member is provided at the end so as to open or close the opening 20, so that the inner of the body 10 is sealed in a state that the upper body is received. The above construction will be provided in detail later with reference to FIGS. 9 and 10.

As shown therein, an engagement member 16 having a step part 16a is installed at the end of the support member 12 fixed at the corners of the body 10. A fixing clip 18 is detachably installed at the step part 16a of the engagement member 16 with the fixing clip having one opened side and having a certain tension, so that the support member 12 fixed at the corners of the body 10 is prevented from separation. Here, the engagement member 16 installed at the end of the support member 12 is integrally fixed while the support member 12 is fabricated.

FIGS. 5 and 6 are views showing an example of the support member according to the present invention.

As shown therein, the support member 12 is separately fabricated and is foldable with respect to the rotation plates 32 and 32′ rotating at certain equal angles by the stop groove 32a and the stop pin 32a′ by installing the engaging plate 30 at the opposite ends or in connection with a hinge H as an axis.

As shown in FIG. 5, the support member 12 may be fabricated with two steps, with an engagement pipe 30 being installed at the opposite ends. The engagement pipe 30 is a hollow pipe of which one end is inserted by the end of the support member 12, and the other end is inserted by the end of another support member 12. When installing the upper body tent structure, the support members 12 formed with one opposite pair are pressurized in the downward direction, and the end of the support member 12 is inserted into the engagement pipe 30 for thereby finishing the installation.

FIG. 6 is a view illustrating a construction that a pair of rotation plates 32 and 32′ are engaged at the ends of the support member 12, with the rotation plates being rotated at certain equal angles by the stop groove 32a and the stop pin 32a′ with respect to the axis of the hinge H. The rotation plates 32 and 32′ are installed at the ends of the support member 12 and are rotatable with respect to the axis of the hinge H in surface contact states.

The hinge H is disposed together with an elastic spring S and is installed with the rotation plates 32 and 32′ being closely contacted and being engaged with the ends of the hinge H for thereby defining a C shape. Here, a plurality of stop grooves 32a pass through the rotation plate 32 so that certain equal angles are maintained with respect to the hinge H. The stop pin 32a′ is protruded from the rotation plate 32′. After the intervals between the rotation plates 32 and 32′ are maintained by pressing the hinge H, the rotation member 12 is rotated, and the stop pin 32a′ is engaged at the stop groove 32a for thereby fixing the position.

The support member 12 is rotated with respect to the engagement pipe 30 or the hinge H and is easily folded based on the rotation plates 32 and 32′ fixed by the stop groove 32a and the stop pin 32a, so that the installation and uninstallation of the upper body tent structure are easy, and the entire volume decreases, and the carry and storage are easy.

As shown in FIG. 7, the zipper 40 is installed in the horizontal direction at the rim portion of the anti-insect net 14, namely, near the opening 10b of the body 10. As shown in FIG. 8, the zipper 40 is installed in the streamline shape along the rim portion of the anti-insect net 14.

At this time, as shown in FIG. 7, the zipper 40 installed in the horizontal direction at the side surface of the body 10 is installed so that the user can easily take a certain item (for example when drinking beverage) provided outside the upper body tent structure while taking a rest or a sleep in the upper body tent structure. As shown in FIG. 8, the zipper 40 provided in a streamline shape so that the anti-insect net 14 is entirely opened and closed is well adapted for the purpose of protecting infants or pets from insects such as mosquito, ant, fly, etc. because infants or pets can enter in the outdoor space.

FIGS. 9 and 10 are views illustrating an example of the sealing member according to the present invention.

As shown therein, in the sealing member, the elastic member 50 such as rubber may be disposed at the end of the opening 20 or the fixing band 52 is disposed together with the fixing member 52a. FIG. 9 is a view illustrating a construction that the elastic band 50 is inserted into the end of the opening, and FIG. 10 is a view illustrating the fixing band 52 of which length is adjustable by the fixing member 52a is engaged at the end of the opening 20. In a state that the user's upper body is received in the interior of the body 10 through the opening 20, the ends of the opening 20 is closely tightened at the waists by the sealing member, so that the interior of the body 10 is fully sealed, for thereby preventing the insects such as mosquito, ant, fly, etc. from being inputted.

When using the upper body tent structure according to the present invention, the body 10 is exploded, and the support members 12 are pressurized downwards and are fixed through the engagement pipe 30 or the rotation plates 32 and 32′, so that the body 10 is formed in a hollow semi-spherical shape. In this state, the body 10 is lifted, and the ends of the opening 20 are tightened like wearing the upper clothes, so that the wearing of the upper body tent is finished. Thereafter, the user takes a rest or a sleep, leaning against the rocks, slope or rock gap.

In addition, while the user takes a rest or a sleep in the tent, the user feels thirst or needs a certain item arranged outside the tent, and the user drinks the beverage by opening the zipper 40. When the user stops resting or sleeping or wants to move or return home, it is needed to uninstall the tent in the reverse sequence of the installation. Therefore, the installation of the upper body tent is performed by separating and folding only the support members 12.

The installation and uninstallation of the upper body tent are fast performed, and the carry and storage are easy, and it is possible to take a rest or a sleep leaning against the ground or the rocks as shown in FIGS. 2 and 3 in a state that the user wears the upper body tent even at a narrow space.

FIGS. 11 through 13 are views illustrating various examples of the lower surfaces of the body according to the present invention.

As shown therein, the bottom shapes of the body 10 may be rectangular shape, trapezoid shape, or hexagonal shape. FIG. 11 is a view of the rectangular bottom surface of the body 10, and FIG. 12 is a view of a trapezoid shape bottom surface of the body 10, and FIG. 13 is a view of a hexagonal shape bottom surface of the body 10.

The bottom surface of the body 10 according to the present invention may be formed in a rectangular shape, a trapezoid shape or a hexagonal shape, but the trapezoid shape is preferred based on the workability and convenience of the use. At this time, the trapezoid shape bottom surface of the body 10 has a high application degree when taking a rest or a sleep in a state that the user extends arms.
