Description:

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of The Invention

The present invention relates to a jacquard weave structure with a gradational light-emitting effect and a method for manufacturing the same, and particularly relates to flexible transparent wires respectively interweaved with opaque wires each other, for one part of the flexible transparent wires being exposed out to form a shining bright area with a predetermined arrangement shape.

2. Description of the Related Art

At night, in order to make decorative article such as clothing generate the lighting and warning effect, reflecting filaments are adhered on the clothing. Hence, when a light source is projected on the reflecting filaments, the reflecting filaments will generate reflecting light effect. However, the reflecting filaments are still a passive luminant. Hence, the drawback of reflecting filaments are the need for external light source to summon up the reflecting warning light.

In order to solve above-mentioned defect, an active luminant is combined on the decorative article.

Referring to FIG. 1, in order to make a word of “BAYCOM” show on clothes for generating shining function, firstly a transparent area 10a and an opaque area 11a are formed on a cover 1a. In addition, the transparent area 10a is the scope of the word of “BAYCOM”.

Moreover, an optical fiber cloth 2a and a reflection cloth 3a are disposed under the cover 1a in sequence. The optical fiber cloth 2a is composed of a plurality of longitudinal plastic optical fibers 20a and a plurality of latitudinal white yarns 21a, and the longitudinal plastic optical fibers 20a and the latitudinal white yarns 21a are interweaved with each other. In addition, a light-emitting module (not shown) provides a light source and transmits the light source into the plastic optical fibers 20a for the optical fiber cloth 2a to generate a large light-emitting area. Furthermore, the reflection cloth 3a is sewed under the optical fiber cloth 2a for preventing the light source from being leaked out the optical fiber cloth 2a. Hence, the light source from the optical fiber cloth 2a can be completely shield via the reflection cloth 3a. Finally, a transparent adhesive tape 4a can be sewed on the cover 1a for protecting the cover 1a.

Thereby, when the light source of the optical fiber cloth 2a projects to the cover 1a, the transparent area 10a of the cover 1a can show the lighting word of “BAYCOM” for achieving a light effect. However, although the cover 1a can be changed for different decorative effects, the composition of the prior art is complex and the manufacturing cost of the prior art is expensive.

Referring to FIG. 2, an optical fiber 10b is bended into an optical fiber structure 1b with a predetermined shape firstly. In addition, the optical fiber structure 1b with the predetermined shape is sewed on clothing such as a sock 2b with a pattern 20b. Thereby, when a light-emitting element (not shown) provides a light source into the optical fiber 10b, a part area of the pattern 20b of the sock 2b will generate light effect. However, the optical fiber structure 1b cannot be too complex, and the decorative effect is not variety.

Referring to FIG. 6, the present invention provides a method for manufacturing a jacquard weave structure with a gradational light-emitting effect. The steps of the method comprises: designing a shining bright area 21 with a predetermined arrangement shape S (S100); respectively interweaving a plurality of flexible transparent wires 2 with a plurality of opaque wires 1 each other, for one part of the flexible transparent wires 2 being covered by the opaque wires 1 to form a covered dark area (not shown), and other part of the flexible transparent wires 2 being exposed out to form the shining bright area 21 with the predetermined arrangement shape S (S102); and disposing a light-emitting module 3 beside end sides of the flexible transparent wires 2 for providing light source and transmitting the light source into the flexible transparent wires 2 (S104).

In conclusion, the present invention provides a plurality of flexible transparent wires 2 that are respectively interweaved with opaque wires 1 each other to form a jacquard weave structure, and one part of the flexible transparent wires 2 are exposed out to form a shining bright area 21 with a predetermined arrangement shape S. Hence, the present invention has some advantages, as follows:

1. Manufacture is simple: The jacquard weave structure of the present invention does not need to be separatedly sewed on a decorative article such as clothes. A designer needs to interweave the flexible transparent wires 2 with the opaque wires 1 each other only for forming the decorative article and the shining bright area 21 with the predetermined arrangement shape S together.

2. A complex jacquard weave structure with gradational light-emitting effect can be provided: One part of the flexible transparent wires 2 is covered by the opaque wires 1 to form a covered dark area that is a non-shining bright area, and other part of the flexible transparent wires 2 does not be covered by the opaque wires 1 and is exposed out to form the shining bright area 21 with the predetermined arrangement shape S that designer wants.
