Description:

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to a UPS uninterruptible power supply mobile computer table structure wherein an ascending/descending device having a transmission motor is utilized to cooperatively work with an IC control panel equipped with a set of ascending and descending buttons; whereby, the ascending or descending button is simply pressed to actuate an operational tube of the ascending/descending device spinning lineally upwards or downwards along a threaded shaft to adjust the position of an inner tube so as to precisely locate a table panel and a monitor at desired positions thereby, providing more convenient and ergonomic design thereby.

Conventional UPS uninterruptible power supply portable computer table is characterized by the use of pneumatic cylinders or elastic cords to control the ascending and descending movement of a monitor and a table panel thereby. In application, pressing force is exerted onto the table panel so as to lower downwards an inner tube. In case of an excessive force applied thereto, the inner tube will descend too fast and fail to locate the table panel and the monitor precisely at desired positions. Thus, the computer table must be readjusted to reach the demanded position, which is quite inconvenient in both application and adjustment.

SUMMARY OF THE PRESENT INVENTION

It is, therefore, the primary purpose of the present invention to provide a UPS uninterruptible power supply mobile computer table structure wherein a transmission motor of an ascending/descending device is utilized to cooperatively work with an IC control panel equipped with a set of ascending and descending buttons; whereby, the ascending or descending button is simply pressed to actuate an operational tube spinning lineally upwards or downwards along a threaded shaft to adjust the position of an inner tube and locate a base panel and a monitor at desired positions thereby, permitting accurate adjustment of the computer table without the repeated operation of the pneumatic cylinders or elastic cords of the conventional portable computer table to provide more a convenient and ergonomic design in application and adjustment thereby.

It is, therefore, the second purpose of the present invention to provide a UPS uninterruptible power supply mobile computer table structure wherein the ascending/descending device is accommodated into an outer tube with an inner tube joined therein and, via rectangular passageways preset at a platform of the ascending/descending device and a base panel, the inner and outer tubes are reciprocally communicated so that wires respectively linked to the transmission motor, the IC control panel, the monitor and storage battery can be guided there-through and concealed at the inner and outer tubes therein, permitting free movement of the computer table without being interfered by the wires thereof as well as allowing a clean and neat appearance thereof.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

Please refer to FIG. 1 showing an assembled perspective view of the present invention. The present invention relates to a UPS uninterruptible power supply mobile computer working table structure, comprising a mobile computer table 10 composed of an outer tube 11 and an inner tube 12 pivotally mounted to the interior of the outer tube 11 wherein both outer and inner tubes 11, 12 are identically shaped into an oval and hollow tubular configuration, and a set of conjoining edges 111 are disposed extending vertically at both lateral sides of the outer tube 11 to match to conjoining grooves 121 defining both lateral sides of the inner tube 12 thereon. Support feet 14 with casters 13 attached thereto are provided symmetrically extending at the lower section of the conjoining edges 111 of the outer tube 11 thereon, and a table panel 15 is fixed at the upper section of the inner tube 12 thereon. The bottom side of the table panel 15 can have a drawer chamber 151 (or without the drawer chamber 151 as shown in FIG. 8) attached thereto, and beneath the drawer chamber 151 is set a pullout panel 152 for the location of a keyboard 153 thereon. An extension rack 16 equipped with an angle-adjustable seat 161 as shown in FIG. 2 is provided protruding at the top edge of the inner tube 12 for the mounting of a monitor 162 thereto. The monitor 162 cooperatively works with a UPS uninterruptible power supply system so as to function normally for wireless receiving/inquiring information (e.g. case histories). The table panel 15 has an ascending button 154, a descending button 155, and a power supply signal light 156 disposed at one side thereon that are conductively linked to an IC control panel 157 to control the operation of an ascending/descending device 20 as shown in FIG. 3 thereby. The ascending/descending device 20 is made up of a U-shaped support frame 21 mounted to the internal bottom end of the outer tube 11 and synchronically locked to the support feet 14 for location thereby. A platform 211 similarly shaped like the outer tube 11 is attached to the topside of the support frame 21 wherein an L-shaped support plate 212 and a U-shaped retaining plate 213 are respectively situated at both sides of the platform 211 thereon, and a transmission motor 22 is mounted to the support plate 212 at one side thereof. The other side of the transmission motor 22 is fixed to an outer cover 23 made up of a pair of opposite housings 231 that are correspondingly engaged with each other as shown in FIG. 4, permitting a spiral-threaded rod 221 of the transmission motor 22 to extend precisely through one housing 231 and accommodate at the interior of the outer cover 23 therein. The housings 231 are respectively equipped with a fixing plate 232 extending at the bottom edges thereon to clamp the U-shaped retaining plate 213 there-between and securely locked thereto. Both housings 231 have a restricting cavity 233 disposed at one internal corresponding side thereon respectively, and a threaded shaft 24 equipped with a bearing 241 and a driven gear 242 is mounted into the restricting cavities 233 for location thereby. The driven gear 242 thereof has helical teeth defining the circumferential surface thereon to precisely mesh with the spiral-shaped rod 221 thereby, and the two restricting cavities 233 have a through hole 234 formed at the top surface thereon for the threaded shaft 24 to extend there-through and protrude outside the outer cover 23 thereby. An operational tube 25 with a screw-threaded hole 251 defining the bottom end thereon is provided to screw-join to the threaded shaft 24 thereby wherein the inner diameter of the operational tube 25 is larger than the threaded shaft 24 and the top of the threaded shaft 24 has a stop side 243 larger than the screw-threaded hole 251 thereof. A sleeve cylinder 26 is positioned to abut against the topside of the outer cover 23 so as to sheath and hide the operational tube 25 in the interior thereof. A sealing cap 262 defined by a pivoting hole 261 thereon is attached to the top edge of the sleeve cylinder 26 for the extension of the operational tube 25 there-through. The operational tube 25 also includes a set of assembling holes 252 symmetrically drilled at the opposite side of the upper end thereon. And a base panel 27 with a pivoting tube 271 protruding thereon is securely locked to the bottom edge of the inner tube 12 thereof. The pivoting tube 271 has a set of assembled holes 272 symmetrically cut at both opposite sides thereon to match and secure to the assembling holes 252 thereby when the operational tube 25 is guided to extend through the pivoting tube 271 thereof. In addition, one side of the platform 211 and the center of the base panel 27 are respectively defined by a rectangular passageway 2111, 273 thereon (referring to FIG. 3) so as to communicate the outer tube 11 and the inner tube 12 with each other thereby. Thus, wires A respectively linked to the transmission motor 22, the IC control panel 157, the monitor 162, and storage battery 30 can be guided to extend through the rectangular passageways 2111, 273 and conceal inside the inner and outer tubes 11, 12 thereby.

To adjust the position of the table panel 15 and the monitor 162 in height (referring to FIGS. 5, 6), the transmission motor 22 of the ascending/descending device 20 is utilized to cooperatively work with the IC control panel 157 equipped with the ascending button 154 and the descending button 155 thereof. In operation, the ascending button 154 (or the descending button 155) is pressed downwards, and the spiral-shaped rod 221 of the transmission motor 22 is then conducted to rotate counterclockwise (or clockwise) and synchronically actuate the driven gear 242 and the threaded shaft 24 to spin oppositely in clockwise (or counterclockwise) movement accordingly. Meanwhile, the top edge of the operational tube 25 is securely locked to the pivoting tube 271 of the base panel 27, permitting the screw-threaded hole 251 actuated by the clockwise (or counterclockwise) rotation of the threaded shaft 24 to screw upwards and ascend (or screw downwards and descend) in a lineal movement therewith. Thus, the base panel 27, the inner tube 12, the table panel 15 and the monitor 162 are synchronically actuated therewith to lift upwards (or lower downwards) along the outer tube 11 (as shown in FIG. 7) till reaching a desired position. Then, when the ascending button 154 (or the descending button 155) is stopped from the pressing operation, the transmission motor 22, the threaded shaft 24, and the inner tube 12 will immediately cease the movement so that the monitor 162 and the table panel 15 can be precisely controlled to locate at an adjusted position with an accuracy, omitting the repeated operation of the pneumatic cylinder or elastic cords shown in the conventional portable computer tables. Therefore, the mobile computer table 10 of the present invention offers a more convenient and ergonomic design in application and adjustment thereof.

Furthermore, when the operational tube 25 keeps screwing upwards to reach the top edge of the threaded shaft 24, the operational tube 25 will be hindered by the stop side 243, and the threaded shaft 24 with the transmission motor 22 will be ceased from operation so as to protect the transmission motor 22 avoiding idle spinning thereby. Besides, the operational tube 25 can be prevented from climbing upwards continuously so as to avoid the risk of detaching from the threaded shaft 24 thereof. Otherwise, when the operational tube 25 is screwed to descend downwards till reaching the top surface of the restricting cavities 233 and stopped thereby, the threaded shaft 24 and the transmission motor 22 will immediately cease the operation thereof. Therefore, the operational tube 25 and the inner tube 12 are restricted to ascend or descend between a topmost point and a bottommost point and automatically positioned there-between, achieving the best application state of the present invention.

Please refer to FIG. 9. The conjoining edges 111 and the conjoining grooves 121 thereof can be disposed at the circumferential surface of both lateral sides or four sides (as shown in FIG. 14) of the outer and inner tubes 11, 12 thereon wherein the conjoining grooves 121 thereof can be molded into a dove-tailed groove configuration respectively, and a guide sliding unit 40 is mounted into each conjoining groove 121 thereof. The guide sliding unit 40 (as shown in FIGS. 10, 11) is made up of a fixed element 41, an actuating element 42, and a linking element 43 equipped with a plurality of rolling balls 431 arranged at both lateral sides thereon. The fixed element 41 and the actuating element 42 are formed into U-shaped plates that are correspondingly joined to each other and respectively riveted to the upper section of the conjoining edge 111 of the outer tube 11 and the preset position of the conjoining groove 121 of the inner tube 12 for secure attachment thereto as shown in FIG. 12. The linking element 43 is situated to sandwich between the fixed element 41 and the actuating element 42 thereof, permitting the rolling balls 431 attached at both lateral sides of the linking element 43 to precisely contact and abut against both lateral sidewalls of the fixed element 41 and the actuating element 42 with a lubricating effect formed thereby. A positioning stop portion 421 is bent to extend horizontally at the top edge of the actuating element 42 so as to contact evenly with the topside of the fixed element 41 thereby.

When the ascending/descending device 20 is started to adjust the height of the inner tube 12 as shown in FIG. 13, the actuating element 42 of the guide sliding unit 40 will be synchronically moved therewith. Meanwhile, the conjoining edges 111 and the conjoining grooves 121 of the outer and inner tubes 11, 12 thereof can offer a positioning effect to restrict the fixed element 41 and the actuating element 42 of the guide sliding unit 40 thereby, permitting the actuating element 42 moved by the inner tube 12 thereof to simply climb upwards along the fixed element 41 and the rolling balls 431 of the linking element 43 thereof to achieve the guiding and sliding effect thereby. Therefore, the inner tube 12 is accurately limited by the guide sliding unit 40 to ascend or descend in a stable and smooth manner, efficiently preventing the vibration of the monitor 162 and the table panel 15 in the adjusting operation to achieve the best state of application thereby.
