Abstract:
An adjustable rack structure comprises: a positioning board employed to be fixed a wall is provided on its surface with co-directional hook portion and looking flange; a support member is provided with a hook portion and an inserting portion employed to be positioned against in the hook portion and the looking flange, respectively, the supporting member further includes a supporting portion defined a notch; a rail structure axially provided with a positioning portion employed to be engaged in the notch of the support member; a cap assembled to an end of the rail structure. The position of the support member relative to the positioning board can be adjusted according to user's needs.

Claims:
What is claimed is:

1. An adjustable rack structure comprising: a positioning board fixed to a wall, on a surface of the positioning board being provided co-directional hook portion and looking flange; a support member being provided with a hook portion and an inserting portion employed to be positioned against in the hook portion and the looking flange of the positioning board, respectively, a supporting portion extending outward from the support member, close to a top end of the supporting portion being defined a notch; a rail structure axially provided with a positioning portion employed to be engaged in the notch of the support member; a cap assembled to an end of the rail structure.

2. The adjustable rack structure as claimed in claim 1, wherein a notch is formed on a peripheral edge of the cap for passage of the supporting portion of the support member.

The adjustable rack structure as claimed in claim 2, wherein the rail structure is provided with axial grooves, the cap is correspondingly provided with through apertures, so that the cap is fixed to the rail structure by screwing screws via the through apertures of the rail structure into the axial grooves of the rail structure.

Description:

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a rack structure, and more particularly to an adjustable rack structure.

2. Description of the Prior Arts

A rack is usually used to store, collect and display different articles, however, the conventional display rack still has the following defects that need to be improved:

First, a conventional rack will occupy a lot of space, and the total weight of the display rack and the goods stored thereon is always heavy, it is accordingly difficult for the user to move the display rack, and thus the places (such as the floor under the display rack) occupied by the display rack cannot be cleaned.

Second, the interval between the respective shelves of the conventional display rack is normally fixed and cannot be adjusted according to user's needs.

The present invention has arisen to mitigate and/or obviate the afore-described disadvantages.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The primary objective of the present invention is to provide an adjustable rack structure consisted of a positioning board, a support member, a rail structure and a cap, since the support members can be fixed at any height of a wall, the space under the rack structure also can be cleaned easily.

The secondary objective of the present invention is to provide an adjustable rack structure, wherein the position of the support member relative to the positioning board can be adjusted easily according to user's needs.

Another objective of the present invention is to provide an adjustable rack structure which can be easily and quickly assembled.

The adjustable rack structure provided in accordance with the present invention comprises:

a positioning board fixed to a wall, on a surface of the positioning board being provided co-directional hook portion and looking flange;

a support member being provided with a hook portion and an inserting portion employed to be positioned against in the hook portion and the looking flange of the positioning board, respectively, a supporting portion extending outward from the support member, close to a top end of the supporting portion being defined a notch;

a rail structure axially provided with a positioning portion employed to be engaged in the notch of the support member;

a cap assembled to an end of the rail structure.

The present invention will become more obvious from the following description when taken in connection with the accompanying drawings, which show, for purpose of illustrations only, the preferred embodiment in accordance with the present invention.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

Referring to FIGS. 1 and 2, an adjustable rack structure in accordance with a preferred embodiment of the present invention is shown and comprises: a positioning board 10, a support member 20, a rail structure 30 and a cap 40.

The positioning board 10 is provided on its surface with two opposite hooking portions 11, and an engaging groove 111 is defined between the positioning board 10 and each of the hooking portions 11. At two opposite edges of the positioning board 10 are formed two locking flanges 12, each of the locking flanges 12 define a locking groove 121 relative to the surface of the positioning board 10. On the surface of the positioning board 10 are further provided two guiding grooves 13, each which is conical shaped in cross section and located between the corresponding hooking portion 11 and locking flange 12. Four screws 14 are used to position the positioning board 10 on a wall by screwing through the guiding grooves 13.

The support member 20 is provided with a hook portion 21 and an inserting portion 22 which are to be engaged in the engaging groove 111 and the locking groove 121 of the positioning board 10, respectively. A supporting portion 23 extends outward from the support member 20, close to the top end of the supporting portion 23 is defined a notch 24.

The rail structure 30 is a unitary structure formed by extrusion and is axially provided with a positioning portion 31 that is to be engaged in the notch 24 of the support member 20. The rail structure 30 is further provided with a pair of axial grooves 32 and a pair of guide rails 33.

The cap 40 is a hollow structure and is provided on its peripheral edge with a notch 41 for passage of the supporting portion 23 of the support member 20, the cap 40 is further provided with a pair of through apertures 42 correspondingly to the axial grooves 32 of the rail structure 30, so that the cap 40 is fixed to the rail structure 30 by screwing a pair of screws 43 via the through apertures 42 into the axial grooves 32 of the rail structure 30.

For a better understanding of the present invention, its operations and functions, references should be made to FIGS. 3-6, in assembly, the screws 14 are initially used to insert through the guiding grooves 13 and fix the positioning board 10 to a wall surface.

And then the hook portion 21 and the inserting portion 22 of the support member 20 are engaged in the engaging groove 111 and the locking groove 121 of the positioning board 10, so that the support member 20 is assembled to the positioning board 10.

After that, the positioning portion 31 of the rail structure 30 is engaged in the notch 24 of the support member 20.

When the cap 40 is assembled, its notch 41 will accommodate the supporting portion 23 of the support member 20, and then, the screws 43 are used to screw via the through aperture 42 of the cap 40 into the axial groove 32 of the rail structure 30, thus fixing the cap 40 to the rail structure 30.

Through the above-mentioned method, a rack structure as shown in FIG. 6 can be easily assembled, the user can assemble two support members 20 to the positioning board 10, and the respective support members 20 are equipped with the rail structure 30 and the cap 40, and between the guide rail 33 of the two rail structures 30 are disposed a plurality of shelves 50, so as to form a display rack. Since the support members 20 can be fixed at any height of a wall, the space under the rack structure also can be cleaned easily.

In addition, the number of the support members 20 and the rail structures 30 can be adjusted as required, the relative position between the support members 20 and the positioning board 10 is also adjustable, and the position of the rail structures 30 relative to the positioning board 10 will also be adjusted automatically when the support members 20 moves relative to the positioning board 10.
