Title:
Fixing device for telescopic hanging rod of screen
Kind Code:
A1

Abstract:
A fixing device for a telescopic hanging rod of a screen includes a major/minor telescopic hanging rod mounted to side walls of a window frame or a bathroom thereon for a plurality of hanging hooks of a screen such as a shower curtain or a window blind to be led there-through and suspended thereby. Both ends of the telescopic hanging rod are respectively provided with an abutting support member having an integrally molded and hooked limiting piece protruding at a preset spot thereon for retaining an end hanging hook attached at one side edge of the screen thereby after the hanging hooks are sequentially led through the hanging rod thereof Thus, in case the screen is drawn by great force in expansion, the hooked limiting pieces thereof can securely stop the end hanging hooks thereof from being slid along therewith so that the screen can precisely shelter the side walls of the window frame or the bathroom thereof to achieve the best using condition thereof.

5. The telescopic rod assembly according to claim 3, wherein each at least one hook shaped limiting piece is integrally made with one of the two support members.

Description:

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

The present invention is related to a fixing device for a telescopic hanging rod of a screen, including a major/minor telescopic hanging rod mounted to side walls of a window frame or a bathroom thereon for a plurality of hanging hooks of a screen such as a shower curtain or a window blind to be led there-through and suspended thereby wherein both ends of the telescopic hanging rod are respectively provided with an abutting support member having an integrally molded and hooked limiting piece protruding at a preset spot thereon for retaining an end hanging hook attached at one side edge of the screen thereby; whereby, in case the screen is drawn by great force in expansion, the hooked limiting pieces thereof can securely stop the end hanging hooks from being slid along therewith so that the screen can precisely shelter the side walls of the window frame or the bathroom thereof to achieve the best using condition thereof.

Please refer to FIG. 1. A conventional fixing device for a screen 10 such as a shower curtain or a blind includes a telescopic hanging rod 20 which is adjusted into a proper length for a plurality of hanging hooks 21 attached at the screen 10 thereof to be sequentially led there-through before both ends of the hanging rod 20 are mounted onto side walls 31 of a window frame or bathroom 30 in abutting location thereby. In practical use, the end hanging hook 21 disposed at one side edge 101 of the screen 10 can easily slide along with the unfolding screen 10 in case the screen 10 is expanded by a great force, making the side walls 31 of the window frame or bathroom revealed without any sheltering as shown in FIG. 1. Thus, the side edge 101 of the screen 10 must be inconveniently drawn back to cover the sidewalls 31 thereof, which is quite troublesome in use.

SUMMARY OF THE PRESENT INVENTION

It is, therefore, the primary purpose of the present invention to provide a fixing device for a telescopic hanging rod of a screen, including a major/minor telescopic hanging rod mounted to side walls of a window frame or a bathroom thereon for a plurality of hanging hooks of a screen such as a shower curtain or a blind to be led there-through and suspended thereby wherein both ends of the telescopic hanging rod are respectively provided with an abutting support member having an integrally molded and hooked limiting piece protruding at a preset spot thereon for retaining an end hanging hook attached at one side edge of the screen thereby; whereby, in case the screen is expanded by great force, the hooked limiting pieces thereof can securely stop the end hanging hooks thereof from being slid along therewith so that the screen can precisely shelter the side walls of the window frame or the bathroom thereof to achieve the best using condition thereof.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

Please refer to FIGS. 2 to 3 inclusive. The present invention is related to a fixing device for a telescopic handing rod of a screen, including a major/minor telescopic hanging rod 40 mounted to side walls 31 of a window frame or a bathroom 30 thereon for a plurality of hanging hooks 11 of a screen 10 such as a shower curtain or a window blind to be led there-through and suspended thereby. Both ends of the telescopic hanging rod 40 are respectively provided with an abutting support member 41 which, either a sealing cap or a suction cup as shown in FIGS. 2, 3, 4 respectively, has a hooked limiting piece 42 protruding at a preset spot thereon. The limiting piece 42 is integrally molded into a hook-like shape for retaining an end hanging hook 11′ attached at one side edge 101 of the screen 10 in abutting location thereby after the hanging hooks 11 are sequentially led through the hanging rod 40 thereof. Thus, in case the screen 10 is drawn by a great force in expansion, the hooked limiting pieces 42 thereof can securely stop the end hanging hooks 11′ attached at the side edge 101 of the screen 10 from being slid along therewith so that the screen 10 can precisely shelter the side walls 31 of the window frame or the bathroom 31 thereof to achieve the best using condition thereof.
