Claims:
1. This invention is a soccer practice device, made of foam rubber or thin cardboard, that straps around the torso, using Velcro or snaps, and limits the player's vision below the waist.

2. This device aids in the training of a player to dribble a soccer ball without looking down, it helps develop a strong sense of touch of the feet on the ball and ball handling skills while enforcing the player's head to remain up.

Description:

This application claims the beneifit of the provisional application No. 60/521,161 filed Mar. 2, 2004.

This invention relates to sporting equipment, particularly to a soccer (association football) training device comprised of a visor shaped apparatus which limits a player's vision below the waist.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

In soccer it is highly beneficial to possess the ability to dribble the soccer ball without having to look down at your feet. A player's ability to do so allows them full view of the playing field.

This invention is a soccer practice device, made of foam rubber or thin cardboard, that straps around the torso, using Velcro or snaps, and limits the player's vision below the waist. This device aids in the training of a player to dribble a soccer ball without looking down, it helps develop a strong sense of touch of the feet on the ball and ball handling skills while enforcing the player's head to remain up.
