Teleconferencing is one of the most innovative ideas ever created. During the meeting you can see the team members placed at different geographical locations. The impact of collaboration software is noted in private organizations, educational institutions, and government agencies nationwide. Many software development companies thrive on software that is used for collaboration. Some of the most common developers of collaboration software are Microsoft, Intel, White Pine, Mitre, and many more. Our objective is to setup a teleconference environment at Dept of MCS at GSU. Presently, Videum Conference Pro board with Winnov Vedium 2.7 software, CU-SeeMePro, Netmeeting, and VisualRoute has been installed. There are some problems yet to be resolved such as firewall protection. We will present the review of hardware and software for Netmeeting and success results during the conference. Supported by Office of Naval Research.
