PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suspension device for a sandbag or the like whereby without directly hooking weight of a suspended object to a hook protrusion, a chord break is well prevented, also chord hook work, transport moving of the suspended object, etc., can be easily and efficiently performed.

SOLUTION: A hoist device for a sandbag or the like is formed by providing a lock part 52 which, in a peripheral position displaced sideward from an upper part center position in a section of a lift actuated bar-shaped suspension lever 51, locks a loop or ring-shaped lock end of a suspending chord W1 placed via an upper part from a sideward of an opposite side. The suspension lever 51 is formed by a beam with at least an surface in a circular arc-shaped section.
