A dental care kit including a holder comprising a first, ventilated compartment for storing a toothbrush, a second, closable compartment which can be opened for inserting or replacing a toothpaste container with a nozzle, and a lid for closing both compartments simultaneously with closure of a nozzle on the toothpaste sachet by means of a cap or closure securable in the lid, or an elastically yielding pad secured in the lid. A folding toothbrush comprising a through opening in the handle and a toothpaste sachet are also described.
