The system has a memory (12) providing dynamic access via at least one attribute allocated to each message such that each attribute describes an aspect of a message as well as a specific value of such aspect. There is an input/output device (14) for transmission of the message to and from the memory respectively. A search criterion specification unit (16) provides input of at least one, user's defined search criterion for the stored messages, using a group of search aspects and a group of their values. A message regeneration unit (12,18) selects messages for a search criterion from the memory in agreement with the specified search aspects and associated values.
