The invention relates to a sliding device (1) for attachment to a shopping trolley (17), comprising at least one grip section (3) consisting of a base piece (2) that is suitable for accommodating other useful devices, in addition to supporting sections (8) that can be secured to both sides of the base piece (2) and that are designed to arrange the sliding device (1) on end pieces (21) of the shopping trolley (17). The inventive device is also provided with securing means (15) which can be mounted on the supporting sections (8) in order to form an obstruction between the end pieces (21) and the supporting sections (8) when the sliding device (1) is in a mounted state. The invention is characterized in that the supporting sections (8) can be snapped into the base piece and each securing means (15) can be snapped into one of the supporting sections (8).
