The present invention relates to a device for protection against the splashing of liquid cleaning or disinfecting products, providing a wash handbasin suitable for a surgical environment. <??>This device comprises a vertical rectangular panel supporting, at its front (130), the tap fitting (14), mounted on a wall-mounted fixing frame (2), a rectangular plate of small width comprising a passage (16) for draining, the edges of the said plate being folded over a short vertical height and towards the top, in order to form a bottom receptacle (15), a front plate (17) inclined in relation to the vertical so that the edge (19) of its lower portion (20) is immersed inside the bottom receptacle (15) and bolts (220,221) coming out perpendicularly from each vertical upright of the wall-mounted frame (2).
