The lamellar clutch is actuated by a fluid-operated linear motor (3). The piston (2) of the linear motor (3) is solidly attached to a drive shaft (1). The cylinder (7) of the linear motor (3) is linked with the piston (2) so that it can move axially but resists torsion, and additionally serves as an internal lamella carrier (7) in the lamellar clutch. The linear motor (3) is arranged radially inside the lamellae (21, 22, 26) and axially inside the outer lamella carrier (24).
