Claims:

1. The ornamental design for a housing for a portable handset, telephone, orsimilar article, substantially as shown and described.

Description:

FIG. 1 is a front, top and right side of a housing for a portable handset telephone or similar article showing our new design in open position;

FIG. 2 is a left side elevational view thereof;

FIG. 3 is a rear elevational view thereof;

FIG. 4 is a bottom plan view thereof;

FIG. 5 is a rear elevational view of a second embodiment thereof; the only difference being the diminished size of the rear upper flat panel and the increased length of the respective corners of the slopes; and

FIG. 6 is a left side elevational view of the second embodiment, the side opposite being a mirror image thereof;

The broken line showing of (1) ear piece circular apertures, (2) antenna, and (3) showing of potential pushbutton keys in FIG. 1, and (4) antenna in FIGS. 2 and 6; is for illustrative purposes only and forms no part of the claimed design.
