1. The ornamental design for a protective ear covering for dogs, or similararticle, substantially as shown and described.

FIG. 2 is a reduced scale right side elevational view thereof;

FIG. 3 is a front elevational view thereof, the rear being a mirror image of the front shown;

FIG. 4 is a top plan view thereof;

FIG. 5 is a bottom plan view thereof;

FIG. 6 is a left side elevational view of a modified form of the protective ear covering for dogs, or similar article shown in FIG. 1;

FIG. 7 is a reduced scale right side elevational view of FIG. 6;

FIG. 8 is a front elevational view of FIG. 6, the rear being a mirror image of the front shown;
