1. The ornamental design for a chain guard for jewelry or the like, as shownand described.

FIG. 1 is a rear perspective view of a chain guard for jewelry or the like showing my new design;

FIG. 4 is a right side elevational view thereof;

FIG. 7 is a perspective view of a second embodiment of the design of FIG. 1;
