1. The ornamental design for stirrer for paints or the like, as shown.

FIG. 1 is a top plan view of the stirrer for paints or the like showing my new design;

FIG. 2 is a side elevational view looking directly into a tyne;

FIG. 3 is a side elevational view which has been rotated about 22.5° from the view of FIG. 2; and,

FIG. 4 is a bottom plan view.
