Description:
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

Individuals who wear earrings often do not want to have their ear lobes pierced and thus have to use snap or screw clamp means to attach the earrings to the lobes. Such means are often extremely uncomfortable.

This invention overcomes these difficulties by detachably securing to each ear a separate C shaped member. Actually the member encircles the ear and does not clamp or pinch it in any way. The lower end of each member is ball shaped. Earrings to be used are provided with cup shaped elements detachably secured to the ball ends whereby the earrings dangle downward below the ears.

An elongated tiara secured to the forehead of the user is secured at each end to the corresponding member whereby the entire decorative structure can be worn easily without discomfort.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

In the drawings:

FIG. 1 is a front view of the invention in use;

FIG. 2 is a side view thereof;

FIG. 3 is an enlarged detail side view of a portion of the invention; and

FIG. 4 is a view similar to FIG. 3 but rotated through 90°.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

Referring now to FIGS. 1 - 4, an elongated curved tiara 10 extends along the forehead over a portion of the hair of the user. Each end of the tiara extends behind a corresponding ear and terminates in a loop 12.

Separate C shaped members 16 having enlarged balls or spheres 18 at each end encircle the ears leaving front openings. Each member adjacent its upper end is slidably and rotatably disposed in the corresponding loop.

Earrings each have a small cup 20 secured by flexible chain or link 22 to an ornament 24. Each cup detachably engages the ball on the lower end of the corresponding member to complete the structure for use as previously described.

While the invention has been described with detailed reference to the drawings, the protection sought is to be limited only by the terms of the claims which follow.
